Charcoal definitely looks a tad better just because it looks like a monochrome photo. Thats cool

Thanks for sharing these helpful tips. I think I should go with charcoal pencils and use graphite pencils for fine details. You made a great comparison between this tow mediums, it really helped Thank you.

I mean it flattens the tooth so that it doesn’t hold on to graphite in further applications

The tooth of the paper= the hills and grooves on your paper under microscope :D
