You went to the fake al Aqsa, the real al Aqsa mosque is in Ji'irrana, Saudi Arabia near Taif. Muhammed prayed at the al Aqsa mosque.

Allaah has described it in the Qur’aan as being blessed. He said (interpretation of the meaning): “Glorified (and Exalted) be He (Allaah) Who took His slave (Muhammad) for a journey by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haraam (at Makkah) to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsaa (in Jerusalem), the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed…” [al-Israa’ 17:1]. Al-Quds is part of the neighbourhood surrounding the mosque and hence it is blessed.

By the way, nowdays jews were previously muslims until they changed former original Gods word tawraat into todays torah. So Palestine belongs to anyone who is muslim. And. @techier31 jews were friendly towards muslims while they were facing jerusalem together, then jews were put on test to see if they will be the same friendly people and for few other reasons such as to see if they will admit truth and silence their pride of "God's people" and go down the right path from which they went astray and because Muhammad a.s. was yearning to be praying towards Makkah, in the direction of kaba.

This video is very helpfull....I had also a confusion between this 2 mosques which is actual Al-Aqsa....but now I m clear that Al-Aqsa is not a single mosque but the whole compound..... including these 2 mosques also ..... Masha Allah ♥️

God is 1, self sufficient & all creation are dependent on him, he's does not begets or born, there is none like him. There is an afterlife. hmu if you wanna know the best. The above one is Qibbatus Sakhra (Dome of the Rock)and bottom one is Qibli Mosque And news channels usually show the above one coz to turn your eyes from the fact veiling wall(founding stone for Third Temple) is there at Qibli Mosque

The aya says masjid Al Aksa which we hollowed around. المسجد الأقصى الذي باركنا حوله. The Whole of Bayt alMakdiss/Jerusalem is a holy ground. Foreign Muslims don't understand the figures of speech that are used in the Arabic language that is way it's confusing for you

The building with the gold dome is NOT the Al Aqsa Mosque, it's the Haram Al Sharif (the Temple Mount) which is a shrine. The Al Aqsa is the mosque with the silver dome.
