One thing I will say is don’t use the rental skates they will give you at the rinks. The blades are always dull and make you try harder to skate. Go get your own skates and have them sharpened and then hit the ice knowing that if you mess up it’s you not the trash skates

@@ockeyboys4579 i wouldnt be able to do that, makes sense, but I cant spend over 50-100 dollars on a pair of skates im only gonna use once, and the closest ice-skating place is like over an hour away

Once you get the flow of it it’s not too hard and not too dangerous:) you’re mostly just at risk for falling at lot, so just don’t hit your head and you’ll be good! You got this!

Randomly one day when we were both at the skating rink, I was going on normally like all the other people, but he legit yeeted over the railing.
