dude... literally the simplest and most direct answer for this question. For the life of me I couldn't find ANY answer that wasn't full of unnecessary convoluted information about a million different unrelated jacks and plugs you'd have wade through forever just to get to this information. All for the KZreadr to pad out their video time. THANK YOU FOR NOT DOING THIS.

Hey man, I have a really confusing scenario that's really bugged me for ages. I have a set of headphones I got off of someone with 1 jack and it is a 2.5mm TRS, yet it has a mic as well. It's so confusing! The most I have got it to do with a set of adapters is either sound or mic. Never both. What are your thoughts?

Hello! I have a doubt. I am currently using a bluetooth headphones which can also be used a wired headphones. The old wire which was provided with the headphones was a TRRS type. The wire got damaged, so I got a new wire. The new wire is of TRS type. Will the microphone of the headset work even after connecting to a device with a TRS cable, or wont it work?

Hi there! Nice review! I just bought a Boya mic, and I'd like your advice with an issue I'm having. Since my old camera doesn't have a mic in, I'm recording sound plugging the mic to my cell phone, using de trrs cable provided with the mic. I'm getting a lot of noise, even when recording indoors and still with the windscreen on. Any thoughts? Thanks!

  • @fundoorajat

Thanks for your comment. Which mic are you using for recording? Is it a lavalier mic? Usually all mics produces noise even with wind filter, you can use a post processing software to perform noise reduction or may be give another mic a try. I use a wireless mic for my videos and it also captures some noise, which i suppress with a post processing software.

I want to convert wireless mic in to wired mic since I WANT TO USE it in home and to eliminate the requirement of dc. I have removed the PCB OF trans meter , Now what is left on the mic is a red ( hot) black ( cool ) and yellow ( ground ) wire. Since the yellow is soldered to the body of mic ring I presume that is it ground. I understand that this kind of mic do not require power and hence I wish to join these three wires to a TRS phone jack to connect the mic to the amplifier jack. Is there anything wrong with my plan.? my connection shall be red to tip , black to ring and yellow to sleeve. Please guide .
