I like both :-). Crystal String for the pouch (6-8 rounds + 2 knots) and Amber Belt at the fork (Wrap & Tuck). Cutting old bandsets into small stripes is wasted time, too much weight and looks ugly. - Shoot straight to all Slingshot-Shooters out there.

GZK bro I'll give you the cheapest option to tie bands. I hope you like my idea. I use the leftover band material to tie the bands as well as to wrap and tuck. I cut small tiny bands out of leftover bands to use a band ties.

Brother GZK I have used both of those products I'm not sure which I like better. Both work really well and dont slip. Great jig setup!

The black crystal string I got off you a few years ago has been perfect for my light setups. I wrap it around 10 times plus, never slips, long lasting, impossibly neat and I thank you.

I've used amber belt for years, and just started using crystal string with a constrictor knot. I've put in everything from .4 - .7 thick bands and haven't had any issues

I just made my first slingshot today as a present for my dad it turned out very good but I gotta get some bands

Well i just using my hand my feet thumb as flatband jig , LOL, nothing simple than that 😂🤣

The Crystal String makes a smaller knot. Less danger of nicking delicate flat bands.

I tried the crystal string, didnt care for it much. I guess I'll give it another try. I like the amber belt though. Nice video also.

I've been using tape and it works well. I've seen crystal string in a variety of diameters. Can you recommend the best diameter for this? I'm shooting .6mm flat bands.

1mm is strong enough, but now i prefer constrictor knot and nylon cord

@@maurycyzych3129 I'm new to this... and my nephew is coming to visit in one week. No time to order amber belt. Can I use crystal string to attach the rubber at the fork ? I'm gonna use natural wood to make the slingshot with him.

Is it cheaper per metre, or cheaper per tie? because if you have to use twice as much then half price per metre is not a benefit.
