I was just about to shell out 80 quid on the 5. Now I'm told the 1 ( other than the head width) has the same oomph, I got that for half the price. Thanks. This is why real people reviews are always the best. Good job mate.

Outch! Dont use on tv screens as if liquid dribbles down the edge of screen it will cause permanent damaged you will start seeings lines on your screen! That means your screen is damaged and will be too expensive to repair as the screen is the most expensive part so be warned folks. Ex-TV engineer.

Would you recommend for cleaning greenhouse windows?

Okay, but the WV5 has got a ledbar to check. If you wash your window for the last time in winter, you probably don't use about 3 to 4 months ( no kids and dogs ). If the state of health of the battery is proximity at 1 led, you have to charge it to 2 led, and you can leave it for a quite time because otherwise it could get it to a hard discharge and damaging the battery like my WV2! And to fully charge it and not use it is also bad for the battery! And WV5 has got a replaceable battery, and that is great! If your battery is broken, you only need to swap for a new battery!

Is the V2 lighter weight that the others

What would you recommend is best for cars? Don't mind what one I buy just want it to do a good job. Did look at the WV6 but some peoples reviews say it leaves marks don't know if its because of the different material in the head. Any advice would be great. Cheers

Any would be fine, the wv1-5 have the same blade so no real difference there, wv6 has a bigger softer more flexible blade so might be useful if the car was more curved wv5 has changeable battery, but wv 6 can do approximately 100 house windows on one charge, wv1 and 2 are usually cheaper so it depends on what you want, my wv6 is my favourite for house windows, and I use my older wv50 (same as wv1) for my car just because it’s there in the garage

I am in a dilemma which one to take or Karcher WV 2 Plus N or Karcher WV 5 Plus N. I don’t know if there are any differences. What do you recommend?

My favourite is the WV6 as it has a different blade, but between the WV2 and the WV5 i would base it on the price, and the price do fluctuate, (i have seen wv5's for less than WV2's before now) if its close then i would go for the WV5. if it is a bigger gap then the WV2,

Hi I have had WV2 for a long while but it’s quite old now. I saw a WV Classic yesterday so where does this come in the range, is it older and not so good as the WV2? I don’t need any assessories or a long battery use as I don’t have loads of windows and use mostly in the bathroom. Thanks

as far as know the main difference is the battery on the classic takes less time to charge but you don't get as many windows per charge, probably a smaller battery, the squeegee part is the same on both, it just then down to extras you miht get ie if its a plus model

They all suck into a container, and are best if that container is below the head owing to gravity, although saying that I have not found any difference between all of the when using inverted or horizontal

I've gone through 2 in a couple of years and both mine leaked, im in the market for a 3rd and looking for one that don't leak both have battery problems one won't charge and the other just flashes green, im wondering if water has got into the motor as it also sounds like a bag of spanners.

@@kevinmarshall8590 interesting to know, I’ve had my first two (wv60) since 2007 and they are still working fine as new as is my wv5. My latest wv6 I’ve only had for 2 years so still to early to comment on longevity Are you using them domestically?

@@RichManPoorTech yes I'm using them domestically, I've opened it up today and there was no water ingress on the board and motor so water was just leaking out of the bottle, mine is a battery problem, I swapped out the old 18650 battery with a new one and it worked but after I turn it off it won't turn on, I have to plug the charger in pull in out and then it will start, 🤷‍♂️I've ordered a new one today hopefully I will get good life out of it.

Clean microfibre and window cleaner (all for around £3-£5) will do the same job, and in some cases even quicker.

And what over pools of water under the panes? The point here is, a vacuum takes most of water away right from the surface. This is why I am using this. Doing wet job and still keeping surroundings dry.

as with any cleaning, and car cleaning, it is always best to clean as much as you can contactless (before contact) so using a hose on your windows would be beneficial, although i usually washer with a wet soapy sponge and then wipe clean with the window vac, sometimes i use my kärcher pressure washer if i have it out for my car, with the window detergent and spray over the window 1st, then wipe with a sponge or the spray bottle pad then vac clean, i hope this helps
