I've been eyeballing the Tele Prof. II. Great video, I loved all the comparisons. My picks would be the Tele Prof. II, and the Strat Vintage II.

I like the neck and jumbo frets on my American performer tele. Got mine when they were still $1199 and I think it was a great deal. Obviously would have loved to be able to pick from the 4 you sampled here but the performer was already at the top of my budget. I’m really happy with what I have though so I guess what I don’t know about the others won’t hurt me. Thanks for another great video. I like you guys. 🤘🎸

I have played an American Vintage II Tele in red... and it was a lot of fun. Sadly, I was buying a pedal, but I may have to head back in...

Both Performers have a resonant peak in the low mids which is not my thing. Some may even call them muddy. The others all sounded great. Turns out Fender knows how the make Strat-y Strats and Tele-y *ahem Teles. Once you’re above the Performers … choose the one that feels the best. All of those sound great.

The right Am. Strat for me is Guillaume's shell pink custom shop strat! Just kidding. I've got my own surf green 61. BUT I gotta say this: I've tried many different versions and still own an Am. Prof II. One of the best bang for the buck guitars I've ever had was the Am. Performer. It's the cheapest Am. Fender you can get. Yes, it's got the ugly 70s headstock, but it comes with jumbo frets and these play like butterrrrrrr!!!

The Performer Tele sounded best and Vintage for the strat and second the Performer strat. The winner is the Performer for me

So what im getting from this is that if youplan to replace the pickups, the performer is the most suited for modern players

I really don`t like the Bi flex truss rod system (walnut plug) It is really prone to have issues.

None, because i cant afford them. So i stay with my chinese CV Squiers ✌🏻😅 Benifit: i did not have to chose between a tele and a strat...i bought a 50s tele and a 60s strat for 500€ quit. (They were used instruments)

Hi, true, these are not affordable models. But keep in mind, these are the tools they traditionally build for professional musicians. For those, who then earn money with their guitar. That puts the prices of these in a different light. Also, and this is a shocking fact, have you ever checked on prices of professional brass instruments? Or cellos / violins / etc? Those are sooooo expensive, my god... I feel so lucky for choosing guitars instead, haha! We don't have to spend 5k (or even much more) for a proper instrument. Cheers //Kris

Same here...but i am fine with my squiers. Shure it would be so cool to have an american model...but it doesnt play that much better then the times the price is higher. So 🤷🏻

Thank you for taking the time to reply! 🫶 That is also true, as someone who plays as a hobby (and can't even play that well) these are wayyyy more than what I need. Harley Bentons are perfect for my skill level and for my budget (I'm very happy with my HB Te-62 😁👍 ). These Fenders are more of a dream axe, because they're absolutely gorgeous. I still want to own a Fender someday because of their history, and owning one, to me feels like an accomplishment of sorts. But when I do it'll be something like a vintera, or the noventa strat! And yes, the instrument could definitely be worse in terms of pricing, we guitar players are spoiled for choice at every budget!! I have a friend that plays the double bass in an orchestra, and anything that isn't laminate wood, is at least 1500€.
