Very informative video. Just bought that standard sized weigh sling. Fishing from San Antonio, Texas!
The correct procedure is more important than the actual unhooking mat. And most importantly getting the carp back into the water as soon as possible. Try and minimise the photos and put the carp first.

Protection is paramount,but these companies charging a few quid short of 100 pound are taking anglers for mugs.

its not the companies fault its the anglers fault. fashion, trends, image, needs must. we could all buy raised dog beds there all 50mm plus padding with waterproof covers costs about £15. but its not got a cool camo or scale pocket

Didn’t know there was such thing as “ a best unhooking mat” as long as fish care is implemented, what does it matter which unhooking mat you have
“Asylum”?! What next? “Mandela” retention sling? “Cry Rape” bite alarms?
Trying to flog these as portable stalking mats is a bit of a hard sell.
