Santo Stefano Castle. Porto Ghiacciolo. Lido Santo Stefano. Most beautiful, cleanest, soft white sand. Best of all! Our favorite beach in Italy so far.
Puglia travel guide tip! How to unlock Puglia’s best kept secret? Here’s the trick to public access to the shallow end of the bay at Lido Santo Stefano. Turn off the main road and come through the stone pillars toward the castle. Where the road is roped off to the castle, turn right, pass the parking lot entrance to the private club, 50 meters later park outside the campground.

After the turnstile the dirt road takes you to the peninsula. Follow the footpath along the bay and the cliff toward the beach club to the boat ramp where you can set up your towels. We don’t recommend the slippery rocks, though we did see plenty of other people going in the water. Get there early for a spot.

@@happygoluckytravel Anassa beach is The place 😃 Not cheap, but amazing. The usual tourist accomodations can be found in and around Paphos. Paphos goes a lot cheaper. Then if you’re looking for unusual stuff, you can cross into Northern Cyprus, which is an unrecognized state 😄

The other side (the Ionian) has kilometres of sandy beaches...the best of the region are definitely in the provinces of Taranto and Lecce...Monopoli is nice, but best for a stroll in the historic centre than for a beach day

Go to Greece 🇬🇷 by far the best beaches! They have the most blue flag beaches. Trust me Greece is the place for you 💙

@@happygoluckytravel Go island hopping on the islands down from Corfu - Paxos, Antipaxos - Lefkada - Kefalonia, Ithaca (my favourite), Zakynthos - stunning beaches with white sand and turquoise waters and they are more green than other greek islands!

We like sandy beaches, too. There are eight sandy beaches in this video, which features the Puglia coastline between Polignano and Brindisi. There are also many sandy beaches in the Solento region of Puglia, a couple nice ones are in our Otranto video. Enjoy your time at the beach!

Next time... next time! Should have gotten after the club, as they are required by Italian law to have a sign indicating access to the shoreline and water for non club members, though very common to not post or say the sign is down for cleaning 🤣

You really had to work so hard to find a decent beach. Greece Islands are best for beach. Just check on youtube, there are no comparison.

Don’t go this lido St Stefano beach. I went there yesterday they want charge me €90 / person which is triple of normal beach club. Enjoy beaches as locals do there are too much nice and free beaches.
