Last Summer I was in Lithuania for my holidays.....I've already been there two times and there will be many more!!!!! 🇱🇹 I found a clean, super interesting and historic Country, tasty food & beers and polite and friendly people!!!!! Out of the 3 Baltic states, Lithuania is my favourite. Tap water is so tasty, trains are impeccably clean and Vilnius is FULL of beautiful churches and the views from the hill are breath-taking. Kaunas was amazing as well and all the people were so polite even the doggies and their owners looked civilised. Good to see so many young, cool and modern people in the video.

Well, I've been to both Poland and Lithuania in fact I've lived in both of the countries for a short period of time and I gotta to say that, Lithuania actually is quite backward and dirty! It indeed looks like a village. I mean it's not that bad compared to Latvia or Moldova but Poland is better, cheaper and has got lots of things to be seen there. Krakow is a way too beautiful city and people seem to understand English better than in Lithuania. I've had a decent time in Lithuania as well. Latvia is the worst, very dirty country, poor and drunk people and it's very expensive too.

I am polish and I was in Lithuania, its beautiful country, I was in Vilnius, kaunas. Poland and Lithuania are similar!

I think the girl who compared poland to village probably drove through the country many times. Since us lithuanians have to transit whole poland to get to western europe it feels like neverending agriculture field :D but the cities are really awesome, small villages are fun to walk in as well :) and of course amazing Tatra mountains ❤

Probably. Most Poles however avoid east and thus lithuania and 90% of us never been there so a lot of people think Lithuania is like Belarus with huts and babushkas everywhere. I don't think the stupidity is limited to lithuania. But as a Pole it was shocking for me to hear that. I mean she after all lives in Lithuania

Hello sis! I don't see anything wrong with calling Poland a village. I love villages! :)) Besides, 3/5 Poles do not even know where Lithuania is (excluding people from the northeast of the country) and have no opinion about this state. It's sad, but I think it's due to a lack of willingness to get to know each other better. People in Poland are only interested in Western Europe or the USA, they forget that beyond the eastern borders there are also beautiful countries and wonderful people. I love Lithuania and I have some good friends there, especially one girl in Taurage. ;)) But that's a completely different story ... :)) Greets and kisses!

@@lewandinho It is true, I am from Wrocław and I would never go to Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, etc., and adding the Czech Republic because it seems poor and behind other countries. In my city such countries are called villages 🤔 When I found out that Ukraine has nice buildings, I was shocked because only ruins are shown on TV. Poland is a border connecting poor and rich Europe, so I think that Poles from the richer side of Poland do not dream of Eastern Europe and are more interested in richer countries. If I told someone that I was on holidays in Lithuania, they would think that I simply cannot afford, for example, a trip to France :/

Well from my perspective of Poland Lithuania has nothing to offer, I have never been there but I have met people from Lithuania in England and based on my zero knowledge about this country apart of common history I would describe this country as a big village with potato fields that has nothing to offer and suicide rate is so high. I know probably is not true but I have never been there and that's jsut pieces of information that creates picture of that country in my mind but I will definitely visit because I like to be surprised and I know it is probably opposite to my imagination

Because Poland is a huge village. It has amazing cities. Amazing potential. Yet it is a mess, and doesnt even function as a country 😄. Lithuania is smaller thats why in some measures we are a bit below, other than that we are more developed, fast moving country which is making progress rapidly. While Poland is a joke of europe. To be exact mentality is what is bringing your country down, lived here for a year. Its shocking

I studied art in Central Germany and was allowed to be an Erasmus student at the Art Academy in Vilnius for a year. It was a wonderful time! I'd love to come back and stay forever, as soon as possible!

@@makarenkoeugene3645 Да, Литва воспользовалась катастрофической ослабленностью Руси и аннексировала её западную часть. И аннексия не везде шла мирно. Многие земли были именно завоеваны. И русские потом оказались в Литве на совсем других условиях, чем на которых входили. После принятия католицизма и унии с Польшей русские по сути превратились во второй сорт. Переяславская рада была закономерным результатом.

It is not eastern Europe neither culturally nor economically. There is no such thing as Eastern European culture or economics. There are reasons why it is separated from the Nothern Europe for now (and we all know them) and these are not objective. Give the Baltics some time, they need those stolen years.

I haven’t any countries that I don’t like, but as an American, Lithuania is at the top of my list for countries in Europe to visit one of these days.🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹

True story- there was a guy from the US who appeared on the tv show COPS, can't remember what he did exactly besides being drunk, but most of the time he was just shouting to the cops hes an American and he has rights!!! :D

I'm a British delivery driver and work in Vilnius. The US embassy over there is large and rests between the 'Horns' of Tauro Hill. (You can google map this to see. Anyway, the US has a great rapport with Lithuania and only last April there was a big parade that included the US military and their vehicles and the Lithuanians really loved their appearance. You see many US tourists in Lithuania and there are many bars that copy the American theme. There is also an area called Uzipus which is a 'country' within Vilnius and has its own 'constitution'.

Absolutely loved my few days in Vilnius! The Lithuanian peoples’ spirit is absolutely incredible, the history and city riveting, and the food + beer 👌👌
