Sometimes brother we have to interfere in our neighbouring countries affairs, even if we don't want to. That's simply because had there been no 1971 war, Pakistan would have chance to attack India from both west and East. And considering modern world geopolitics, East Pakistan would have been under China's control, further threatening our country's peace. So, even if it is not in our best interests, we had to interfere for our own sake only in 1971. I know people of Bangladesh will never ever thank India for their independence but what to do, it was for our own strategic interests only.

I am from West Bengal and I already know the answer that Bangladeshi has deep seeded hatred toward India and Indians. I really feel bad for our martyred soldiers who laid down their lives for nothing in 1971. Diplomatically India and Bangladesh share a good relationship because the leaders of both countries do not share animosity but for the people of Bangladesh, it is a whole different story. North Indian think Bangladesh is our best ally but little did they've any idea about what a normal Bangladeshi do think and love talking about (splitting India to form Greater Bangladesh). Since I am Bengali and I understand Bangla I know what they think and what they want. Don't be naive my North & South Indian friends. This video is best example to understand about their modus operandi. We request our Government to futher fortified the Eastern side of our borders properly.

Wake up 😂. We Bangladeshi grow up by watching doraemon and shin-chan and were taught that India is our friendly country. Also we understand Hindi and support your Industry and see as it is like our industry. And if we hate anything than it would be the corrupted politicians or things that you Indian hate about it. But yeah if you pull out border of India and Bangladesh you won't find any difference. When we were little we used buy bollywood cinema cds with our grandpa. And who the hell told you that we hate you. If we hate anyone than it would be that Pakistani still not apologizing for raping 3million women else we don't hate any county or people. But if you judge us from ICC perspective then it would be a different scenarios and normal to support our country and cheer up. We Bangladeshi never hold any grudge neither we will have any intention of hating you. That's the majority people thought if we have any problem then we will work that out but nah we don't have any reason to hate a country.

Your martyrs didn’t die for nothing, they died to weaken India's archenemy Pakistan. Bangladesh's independence was not a moral case for India, it was as political as it gets. But yes, there is a lot of hatred in common people for two major reasons: (1) being from a smaller and weaker country that is heavily influenced by its larger neighbour, people feel insecure about their autonomy. They see India as a big bully who dictates the terms for Bangladesh. (2) religious tensions. Both Hindus and Muslims of this subcontinent can be quite vocal, even violent about their faith. After all, thats how Pakistan-India split. While Indians looks at instances like Comilla violence surrounding Quran in a Durga Puja, Bangladeshis looks at the Babri Masjid crisis. Both looks at Kashmir, Hindus sees Hindu pandits being expelled, Muslims sees Muslim families being exploited. Both sides are busy at looking at each other's shortcomings and retaliating against that.... And in that sense, specially after the BJP government, Bangladeshis hates India as a country that hurts their brothers in faith. I would assume many in India also shares the same notion about Bangladesh, after all there were alleged retaliation in Tripura following the Comilla violence. (Not saying these reasons justify hatred. My goal is not to defend, but merely explain. I'm simply describing the situation as it is. Not how it should be. Also not every Bangladeshi hates India. Some of us even love it, like me, or like the guy in the previous reply, or the guy in the video who said we watch IPL and Indian movies)

India didn't help bangladesh to take all the credits, but because pakistan attacked indian airbases. That's when india joined the war and defeated Pakistan.

Which is not in full compliance with international law .....Where international law states that water will flow in normal rivers according to normal natural law. Farakka barrage , which was launched experimentally for 2.42 days, has not been ended after so many decades. Despite the Ganges water sharing agreement with India for 30 years, is Bangladesh getting water at all? Anyway, let's get to the border, 3. Their army is so cowardly that they are reluctant to shoot even the unarmed. Even after we have let them go, I don't think they will be able to come back with their lives if any of our fishermen go to their border with such an aggressive attitude towards us. 4. Although we are their 4th remittance country (according to India's own survey in 2016), they think that they are doing us a favor. But we can't wait to see how much the Indian economy will suffer if we close the border. The whole country is still being humiliated, From that felani (15 years old Bangladeshi girl, who killed and hanged on fence of the border by Indian Bsf) I can see the killing at the border, Taking advantage one by one, Insult us again, Being a friend and helping my family does not mean that you can do whatever you want with your family, enjoy it as you wish, This is like sending one's wife to a friend's bed to repay the friend's benefit while getting married. We don't like India because of the extreme Hindus, and most of them are extreme. They always torture Indian Muslims, and, surprisingly, governments and all the security forces support the torture of Muslims. Here in Bangladesh, we also have some extreme Muslims, but they're very few and easily neglected, and the government is very strict on extreme Muslims. All the security forces are fair to all religions. The extremely poor percentage will be 1 in 1 million in Bangladesh. In India, 99% of Hindus don't like Muslims and at least 30% torch Muslims in many ways. But still, we're grateful to them for contributing to our liberation.

The woman, an academician, felt unsafe and narrated her harrowing ordeal to the police. Dhaka Police stated constable Nazmul Tarek been charged with 'harassing, abusing & physically attacking' the woman. As per Bangladeshi media, police said 'probe found constable Nazmul Tarek was involved in the incident'. Brother, you have 0 rights to talk about Muslims in India. After losing to China in 1962 and losing ground, India reclaimed Pakistan-occupied territory in the Kargil war in 1999 but had no victors. I said no, they have ruled India with a population of billions with just a few lakhs of manpower.

The problem is not India nor Indian people. But Politics,from both countries.You will agree with me that recently,hate crimes increased on India,and some Bangladeshi political party or religious influencer, used this to abuse India. When a religious leader,or any social sites influencer saw that he gets more reignition, or more Followers by abusing India ,they keep highlighting India's situation, making small incident into big issues. So the hate keeps growing. I visited India 7 times. I know how nice an Indian people are. The situation are also same here. Bangladeshis may not like India and its their choice, their opinion but There are many Bangladeshis who are surviving just because they are working and earning in India. I never hated or disliked Bangladesh until I saw this video seeing numbers of locals in Bangladesh don't like India. If asked they don't have the specific reason to justify their answer. I think these people have not seen, known or experience India.

India has a vast diverse culture and heritage with growing economy and it has 1.4 billion people to take care of the country. We don't need their appreciation as their opinions are not shocking to me

Okay, I am giving you guys the reason why Bangladeshi people hate India. 1. India is exploiting Bangladesh economically, for example, India is shutting down coal power plants and forcing the building of those coal powerplants in Bangladesh to keep India's coal Market alive and to export coal. 2. Despite being a small economic country, Bangladesh is India's 4th largest remittance source, and India gets nearly 13 to 14 billion USD as remittance from Bangladesh. And people of Bangladesh hate that many important job positions are occupied by Indians inside Bangladesh. 3. India is breaking international law on water distribution by using Farakka Barrage on the Ganga river and many other rivers, which causes severe famine and flood almost every year, and Bangladesh is facing huge economical losses. I don't have time to write all the causes, but, as an educated Indian citizen, I am sure you will understand the rage. And about the independence war in 1971, India had gained much more than it lost. Basically, India fought against Pakistan because of their own gain. Don't be naive and think India fought for the sake of helping Bangladesh. nobody is that crazy, They fought because they saw territorial control and economical gain, and a nice way to devied Pakistan.

I found a person who try to understand from a Bangladeshi perception. The general people hate bcz of border killings, fadakka barrage the water shortage in summer and overload in rainy rsn which tremendously destroys our crops. Indian politics interfered into bd politics and we lost our voting. Rights and freedom of speech. Rigged cricket games also play huge role in this issue. Funny how they said they hate india's culture but their language, food, clothing and even their whole culture stems from india. Bangla is a descendent of vedic sanskrit. Border killing, pressuring our political leaders in almost every aspects, treating us as a little mouse. It’s like someone tried to help a slave setting free from his Slavery and then he started treating him like his own slave. We also have a vast amount of Hindus in our country. So how can be the religious issue be a cause of hatred?

U explained in a wrong way I'm Bangladeshi & i love India a lot I Don't hate any country except some countries political leader Most of the ppl of Bangladesh hate india because : 1) India made farakka barrage Between common river of India & Bangladesh. It’s contrary of international river law. For that reason we Bangladeshi ppl suffers a lot specially northern Bangladeshi ppl. In winter season ppl need water for agricultural purpose but India closed the barrage & the tista river become dry. Farmers suffers a lot. They can't grow crops & they also supply whole Bangladesh fruits & vegetables. So it’s a big threats for our food safety. In rainy season, farakka barrage become open & due to huge amount of water It’s cause natural disaster like flood. Most of the crops goes under water. So, again our crops destroyed bcz of india.. 2] India always intrfare our intrnal politics.

So even if u change it's name & try to bring secular ethos, things won't change. It will remain west Pakistan only, a mini Jihadi adda. Secular voices of Bangladesh is getting crushed on daily basis. And Data verify the facts, 27% Hindu population of Bangladesh is now at 7%!! So, I don't feel any shock in the video, this was obvious. Just wait till Shekh Hasina retires from politics & see Bangladesh turning into a jihadi hub. And it's high time for India to follow secular principles!!

Watching this a year later and the heated comment section here makes it seem like almost every other person in the video hates India when most of them said they don't hate any country. Only a few simpletons didn't like India without even a clear reason as to why they do, and a couple others only mentioned the politics of India they don't like. One of them even mentioned disliking Pakistan due to the war in 1971. Very interesting how the comments warp the actual content of the video.

NOTE : THE INDIANS HELPED US IN 1971 FOR THEIR OWN BENEFITS NOT FOR US. India was afraid that if there is Pakistan on both sides of their country then they may have to face many problems in the future also they helped us because of their political advantages.

Okay, I am giving you guys the reason why Bangladeshi people hate India. 1. India is exploiting Bangladesh economically, for example, India is shutting down coal power plants and forcing the building of those coal powerplants in Bangladesh to keep India's coal Market alive and to export coal. 2. Despite being a small economic country, Bangladesh is India's 4th largest remittance source, and India gets nearly 13 to 14 billion USD as remittance from Bangladesh. And people of Bangladesh hate that many important job positions are occupied by Indians inside Bangladesh. 3. India is breaking international law on water distribution by using Farakka Barrage on the Ganga river and many other rivers, which causes severe famine and flood almost every year, and Bangladesh is facing huge economical losses. I don't have time to write all the causes, but, as an educated Indian citizen, I am sure you will understand the rage. And about the independence war in 1971, India had gained much more than it lost. Basically, India fought against Pakistan because of their own gain. Don't be naive and think India fought for the sake of helping Bangladesh. nobody is that crazy, They fought because they saw territorial control and economical gain, and a nice way to divide Pakistan.
