Kudos for picking up on this. I'm from Birmingham, but if you drive out around 30 minutes from here (in various directions), you could potentially run into Coventry, Wolverhampton/Black Country and Stokie accents...... All of which are very different.

I am very far north and even I noticed her accent was shit. She had clearly lost her accent and was just imitating what she used to sound like for the chat up lines. Then she forgot she was a brummie when unprompted. Kinda embarrassing.

Literally what I was thinking. My family and friends are all Brummies and we can tell a Black Country accent a mile off. Seems that people either like to leave Birmingham out or when they do include Birmingham they always manage to get a yam yam to pretend to be a Brummie. Also get the feeling they're told to really ham it on to the point where it becomes a stereotype.

One out of three isn't bad, only Geordie is a true Northern accent. Yorkshire and Manc. are Midlands. There are only four Northern Counties, Northumberland, Durham in the east. Cumberland, Westmoreland in the west.

The majority of those were really slight accents bar the brummie accent, The RP accent was quite noticeable too. Would be interesting to see what they made of the chav accent

The welsh accent was very weak, could barely recognise it 😂

God I adore a good Liverpool and Scottish accent

They need to do separate videos with LOTS of different accents from across the UK.

OMG Scouse is my favourite, it's so distinctive and warm

My accent is received pronunciation and I own a waistcoat and three jackets... so I guess I'm upholding stereotypes.

Feeling peeved they didn’t do anything from Somerset, Cornwall etc

The Swansea accent was more of like a HINT of Swansea, definitely recognisable but not a typical one

So happy they included scouse. Didn't expect that high of a grade lmao

I'm not too accustomed to the swansea accent as i've only been to swansea a few times, but it seems to be a much lighter version of the valleys.

I live in West Wales and the Swansea accent is a very real Welsh accent. It might not be as intense as the stereotype but she has lots of the features of a first language Welsh speaker. I think it's more rural and western than Swansea though
