    These are also the amps I bought/use except swap the Oracle for the Baseford CB4. The ML5 in ML4 and 2C+ mode is the one I use the most. It can do almost everything.

    🤘🏼🤘🏼. Glad you’re also digging the CB4. We worked very hard getting that amp model extremely accurate to my personal VH4. It ultimately culminated into ML needing to develop a new algorithm (Vorna) in order to get it right and for me to sign off. The nice thing about that was they eventually implemented that new level of quality/accuracy into the other models. I’m very proud to have been the impetus that took ML amp aims to the next level. Unfortunately the marketing and awareness of the CB4 was quite lackluster in comparison to the other sims, so not a lot of people know how great it actually is. But that just means you’re in on the secret and have a weapon they don’t 😅. Keep rocking🤘🏼🤘🏼.

    This is very helpful. I hadn't considered flipping between amps depending on the songs section and riff types. I have have to try this while keeping the cab constant.

    The first two amp sims I ever played through and owned were the ML800 and the ML5, they're just perfect and even better now with the updates. I was already going to get the Oracle this Black November for sure 👍and was looking at both the Block Letter and Triple Rev G. It's not surprising that we have similar tastes considering I love all the ML Sound Lab plugins and IRs 😃I might even have to grab three while the sale is on, the Humble and the Gemini are both fantastic for clean tones 👌

    Oh for sure - I love that some plugins really stand the test of time even for myself. I keep coming back to them! I highly recommend Gemini for cleans - that's once again one of my personal amps from my collection and it's spot on accurate. 😘

    Hey Mikko! Your amps have been my daily drivers fora while now. For the price, the quality and flexibility just cannot be beat. And as you come out with them, I will buy them. Your customer service team has been great when it comes to questions and problems with. Do you think you will ever get a Soldano inspired model in the line up? It's a dream amp of mine, but I'm just a bedroom player, so 4-5k on an amp just isn't a priority

    Thank you so much for your kind words! I can't say what we do and don't have coming up - it typically requires the perfect alignment of something people ask for, something Mikko owns/wants to own, and something we can do differently to other things on the market. 🙏 -Kai

    This may be a strange question, but do you ever try or use any amp sim plugins other than ML Sound Lab ones?. You've definitely convinced me I need the Triple Rev G in my life, too.

  • @mlsoundlab

    @mlsoundlab

    I guess the strange answer would be that luckily I don't have to use other than ML amp sims. I know exactly the attention to detail we have so I trust them 100%. I can't have that trust with other amp sims since I don't know how much effort they put in their modeling. I'm not a hater so I do try some amp sims that are cool IMHO. Also remember that I worked with/for Fractal Audio (and Neural DSP) so I have a good understanding of what the standards are. I have no problem saying f.ex. that Fractal Audio amp modelling made amp modelling to good that even now a decade later pretty much all other physical modellers are trying to catch up. And yes the Triple Rev G is magic!!🎉

    very intresting test. the amps you suggest for good chugs ml5 and rev g i have not test from you. maybe i should try demo . maybe you can allow to download the audio examples you have in this video as DI(or put it in the amps download) so can hear how it sound with own guitar in compare to your guitar?

    The kerang Isabel the best you can get as maxed out with the game and still hear the individual notes the other ones you shown on the 6666 I also heard separation of notes that went kind of cordial at the end and started going wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa

    🙏🏻🙏🏻. Kinda crazy that some amp sim plugins have gotten so good they can hold their weight against everything else. I used the CB4 all over the Nickelback album (among other productions and mixes I’ve done since it came out a few years ago). Still blows my mind how few people know about it and how little ML markets and promotes it.🤷🏼‍♂️

    Honestly Flagship is a top 5 plugin from us but the reason I don't use it as much is that it's TOO VERSATILE. I want results immediately and less knobs is better. 😂 So it's more about my lazyness. If you want to control EVERYTHING then Flagship is what you want. Potentially it will morph into all these other amp sims.
