Hello from Belgium! Do basket fryers without Tefal coating exist ? I wouldn't even care that it'd be more difficult to clean as the PFAS coating used in Tefal is extremely carcinogenic. Thanks so much for any advice!!

Do the Airfyeris have a Teflon non-stick coating, if so are there any without a Teflon coating?

I’m a disabled senior with GI issues. The air fryer has saved me grease, time, and I don’t have to stand and watch the food. Lifesaver! Want to get a new one for my birthday as a present to myself. Thanks for all the info.

I agree 100% on the air fryer size. My first air fryer was a 5.6 qt, and after using it for a very brief amout of time, I realised it was too small for me even though I am cooking for myself only. I also agree 100% about the shape. The square shape is definitely better than the round shape.

Solo person here who travels in my truck camper for work. I bought a Cosori based on your review and the facts that it was on sale at Walmart. I had no IDEA what an air fryer was before a friend of mine sang the praises of hers, so I started to research them. Needless to say, I LOVE mine and use it daily, sometimes multiple times. I love roasted root veggies but hardy ever made them because they took so LONG to cook! Now I have them (and other delicious stuff) multiple times a week! Thanks for all your informative videos! 😊

I bought an off-brand "Blazant" 7 quart on Amazon. Since I have a limited budget this was what I could afford. I love this thing! Although the Customer service isn't great, I managed to figure it out and I make wonderful full loaves of bread in it!

I have owned around 5 other air fryers before getting my current one. I called them all upgrades but was really learning what my feature preferences were. With my move to a small apartment and kitchen, it came down to what is the largest basket I can get that takes up the smallest space and has the most for the best price. I have no choice but to leave this one on a counter with little extra space. I ended up with a 5qt Instant Vortex which has a u shaped basket and a viewing window. The 5qt basket has made a huge difference and I cook in it a lot more than any of my previous ones. It seems that finding the Goldilocks size made a huge difference in actual use and this one has preheating cycle which I had never tried doing that before it gives me better results.

I never clean my air fryer. I use two silicone su aster bowls with handles. Put food directly into bowls, put bowls in air fryer. When cooked, leave bowl in air fryer. Transfer food with tongs to plate. Leave bowl in air fryer to cool down. Then remove bowl to wash. Pros: no burn fingers and do not have to wash heavy air fryer basket. Silicone bowl light weight and super easy to clean. I also have one bowl that is divided so you can cook 2 different items. Cooked potato slices and frozen Brussels sprout and they were perfect at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

I am single & have a Toastmaster 2.6 quart Air Fryer & love it. Plenty big for me. I have cooked steak, chicken, baked potatoes, sweet potato & white potato frys, & bacon. Super easy, super easy to clean. I used your bread trick when I did the bacon & it worked perfectly. I can't wait to back in it.

I started pressure canning last month (at age 54!!) and I cannot be happier at how much time I save at dinner time now that I just pop open a jar of my own clean proteins or meal in a jar.

I've had an Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer for a year or so, and it's been brilliant. It's a combination of Air Fryer and Pressure Cooker, which is a nice combo for a small amount of counter space (but you have two big lids, so one takes up cupboard space). Make 4Kg of stew / chilli / bolognaise / shepherds pie mix in the pressure cooker bit, then freeze in two person portions, and reheat / final cook in the air fry bit later with fries maybe. But ... the round basket is as you say a PITA, and it's difficult to do meals for two - it's possible, but not easy so I was thinking about a dedicated machine and after your video I went for the Instant VersaZone Dual for the option of using one big pan or two small. Thanks for good advice!

I had a "shelf style" air fryer that turned me off air frying, everything was such a hassle. I'd been wanting another one, and looked at many, almost choosing another shelf style with alll the whistles and bells- then I had a lightbulb moment to keep it simple! I now own the 6qt Cosori Turboblaze. I've had it for 2 days. I've not touched my stove! The chicken tonight was so yummy! I'm so glad the basket is a good size! I'm in love!

I've been busy for many days getting a new air fryer and that's why I've been on this channel a few times. I can support all of the points listed here 100%, especially that oven-style air fryers are a horror to clean. I live in Germany, and even though the European market is very similar to the American market, there are differences. The Cosori original model of the type CP158 is still identical here, but the Type 358 “Cosori Pro2” was apparently not introduced in Europe, but instead the successor, the type 652, Cosori Pro 2 Plus. Same design, but instead of a basket with a tray, viewing window and larger volume. In Europe the size is of course not given in Qt, but in liters, i.e. the Pro 2 has a size of 5.5 L (5.8Qt), the new Pro 2 Plus 6.2 l. I have now decided on this device, and you can see that Cosori actually tries to improve its devices in detail. From my previous air fryers, I only knew that the hot exhaust air was released straight to the back, which led to unsightly stains on the wall behind it, but the new Pro 2 Plus has an air splitter on the housing that divides the air flow and then Sides and top spread. 😉

My first AF was a Cosori 5.8 and I loved it. But a year later, after seeing how many people loved the Dual Blaze, I researched it and knew I’d love it. I’ve had that one for a year now and I use it almost every day.

got the Dreo, never wanted an airfryer, combi-oven until I saw what this was capable of. Roast pork and lamb have turned out incredible and made the best wings I have ever done in this. Saves me turning on an entire oven when it really isn't necessary.

Thank you for making sure we have all the information we need to get the most from our cooking experience. Doing the foot work and teaching us things we wouldn't have thought to consider. Love your videos!

I bought the dual-blaze about 3 months ago based on your recommendation and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I was going to buy the regular Cosori but I was too lazy to even bother to shake half-way through 🙂. Plus I liked the idea that I could cook without the inner tray thanks to the bottom burner. Thank you for this channel. I watch it regularly to learn more about using my dual-blaze. Before seeing your channel, I almost bought something half the size without even knowing how to use it. So glad I came across your channel.

I have the Cosori Dual Blaze and the Dreo Chef Maker. I love both of them. I primarily use the Chef Maker every day. I use the Dual Blaze for when the Chef Maker is in use and I need to cook more than one thing at the same time. I have your "Cheat Sheet" and refer to it ALL the time too. For someone who doesn't cook these two air fryers have me making things I would have never made before. I'm not a big "food" person so cooking to me has always been too much work for so little reward in my opinion. I'm unable to put into words how the air fryer has changed the way that I eat and it's all way too easy too!! Thank you for your videos, reviews and recommendations. They have literally changed the way that I eat!!

It's really going to be personal opinion on which is preferred to be honest. I do like and use both all the time. If I had to chose I'd say that I like the Dreo Chef Maker the most but it's also a lot more expensive. The main differences between the Dreo Chef Maker and Cosori Dual Blaze: - I added a 3rd air fryer that may be more cost effective but is still a very good choice. Cost: 1. The Dreo Chef Maker (359.00 at Amazon, currently on Cyber Monday sale for 215.40.) 2. Cosori Dual Blaze (149.00 at Amazon, currently on sale for 127.49). 3. Cosori Pro Gen 2 Air Fryer (101.99 at Amazon) - Built in removable basket for easily removing food. Similar to the Dual Blaze without the bottom burner and costs less. Size: 1. Dreo Chef Maker is (6-Quart). 2. Cosori Dual Blaze is large (6.8-Quart). 3. Cosori Pro Gen 2 Air Fryer (5.8 Quart). Burners: 1. Dreo Chef Maker - 1 burner on the top like most air fryers but I found it does well even without flipping food over but you have to use the rack to raise your food off the bottom so it will cook evenly. 2. I was one of the people who started off with the 3.8 Cosori. Loved its functionality but not enough space. Anyway I now have the Turbo Blaze and use it every day at least once. I did my breakfast this morning soft boiled egg and toast, supper was a steak sandwich with onions - it did the onions, toasted the bread and cooked my lovely steak to medium rare. Got a small and cheap one a few days ago (Xiaomi Mi 3.5L) and its magical. We are a family of 5 so I will be upgrading at some point, but I will say, even doing sevetal batches is a treat. I've been the only one cooking for my wife and the fam my whole life so I was skeptical. Thanks to your channel I gave it a go and I was stunned. The one major test for me was chicken breast and I was shocked at how in 20 mins, I got 2 perfect chicken breasts, super moist too. The things I like the most: 1. Thr Xiaomi has an app, which lets you operste it remotely and has a timer with phone notifications. Im sure most air fryers do, but that is a MASSIVE plus for me. 2. When the time is up, lets say you forget about it, the air fryer does not keep cooking the food, it barely keeps it warm. Can't really burn anything. 3. Obviously the silent noise it makes, far less than my oven and the noise reminds me of how much money I'm saving. 4. Far far less messy, what a joy. 5. Fits well on my white counter top, barely bigger than my coffee machine. I made about 15 cookies in several batches and I was sure it would be annoying, but in 30 mins I was done, with barely any washing up to do. Anyways, for those on the fence, buy one ! I went for an inexpensive one at first (although make sure to watch teh reviews) and it works great. Thanks for all the previous videos, I was under the impression that a lot of it was hype, but nope, I can understand how so many cooks swear by these. You were the reason I bought one and I do not regret it !

I’m returning my dual blaze today. I decided to buy it because of your videos but I got no luck. I have it for 2 months and I gotta say I do like the size but the buttons don’t work properly. I have to unplug every time I use.Very often I can’t change the temperature ou even to cook something else I have to unplug it first. I’m leaving this review because I left a comment before saying that I was very excited about this air fryer. I guess I’m going back to Ninja I had one for at least 5 years without a problem.

Yup, gotta get one . Just 70 year old guy and trusty dog in my household. Large ovens and Arizona summers don't mix. My Brittany Spaniel says go for Dreo Chiefmaker just look how long you will have it and cost is justified. Make life EASY. Done. What a professional presentation!

I bought mine at Walmart. and I ordered a beginners cook book on air fryer from Amazon. the reason why is my doctor wants me to lower my cholesterol, but after seeing the commercials on this air fryer back then,every body now is trying to have the best one.i love Ninja products and have a few, and wanted to order the foodie air fryer, but passed. My first basket Air Fryer, a Cosori, arrives today. Our first air fryer was the oven style, and searching the web I couldn't find recipes using the oven style, and ended up not using it much because of this. Then my dad, watching a late night infomercial, saw an oven type air fryer and ordered one, each, for my brother and I. I use that more for the broiling aspect. I want to do more air frying, and most reviews like the basket style better. So, out first one will be relegated to the RV (hopefully will be more comfortable using that after using the basket for awhile). I have found your videos within the last 6 months to a year, and can't wait to implement those with the new air fryer.

I love my Dreo I bought it first because It has a window to see what's going on inside. No problems with it whatsoever it does it all for me. I just bought by grandson one :)

I have a Nuwave Brio 6 qt as my first one. It has 3 wattage ranges. The only thing I am not a fan of is the wire basket. My stove oven hasn't been used in years and I love to cook. Thanks again for a great video

We have had a Philips XXL air fryer and its very good, but should have bought the Cosori. The main reason is the Philips has lots of 'grooves' or channels in the basket, which makes it a major pain to clean! The smooth metal sides would have saved a ton of time in cleaning! Also, I suggest when using it on greasy foods like pork belly or chicken wings, add boiling water in the bottom part so it makes cleaning up much easier!

I replaced my old air fryer with a Cosori Dual Blaze. Liked it so much I bought a second one. Usually have both going at the same time. Rarely ever use my air fryer oven.

Tip for those who got the Cosori without the shake button: usethe root vegetable button and adjust time and temp to what you want. It gives a shake reminder halfway through the cooking time. Thanks Cathy I'm enjoying mine and my friends are gradually taking up air frying too!😄👏🙏

I spent HOURS researching air fryers, walked into Costco and saw the Gourmia for 65 dollars (cdn). All my research went out the window and I bought the Gourmia, which was def the cheapest out of all the ones I researched. Funny how that happens? Haha

A great video, thanks for putting this together in such a concise and effective way. I'm a lover of big size, so I went with an air fryer oven (30L or just about 32Q) and like to have a window to see what's cooking. I was planning on a HUGE family Christmas feast and wanted one that would work in tandem with my regular oven in order to prepare dishes. So this one checked all the boxes. They have come a long way and the one I "had" (past tense now) I totally fell in love with. Loved all the presets, features, rotisserie, removable oven door for easy cleaning etc.. Heated up quick and all food even on multiple levels came out evenly cooked. A quick wipe of the insides and it really kept it close to "new" for every use. It was a space hog so I had it on it's own dedicated kitchen trolley. Surprisingly it didn't give off as much heat as you said in your video, so this was a big plus. Did my due diligence before purchasing, read all the reviews and thought I had made an awesome purchase. However, after just 4 months the circuit board blew, buttons didn't work or not like they should (light button actually started selecting presets). Weird. Finally got an error code, that wasn't even listed in the troubleshooting guide in the manual. The unit had just past the "return" window from Amazon (where I got it), so tried to contact the local dealer/manufacturer from where it came. Apparently still had 6 months on the warranty. Crickets. After many follow-ups with them and not hearing a peep...contacted Amazon today and they are going to refund my money upon return of the unit to them (gotta love Amazon customer service). Going back now and reading more reviews since, seems a few other people are now having this same issue (since I purchased) and no response from the dealer either. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of these units are identical but go by different brand names not only in the same market, but also from country to country. Buyer beware. Perhaps I'm being cynical, but I think they do this in order to get around bad reviews. Calling a bad unit something different a year from now, doesn't carry all the bad reviews with it when people do a their research. As you said in this video...buy with a good warranty and good brand with name recognition. I have to be honest, I'm a little "gun shy" now on purchasing a new air fryer...but vids like this are truly appreciated. Keep up the great work.

My 1st airfryer was an oven type I hated it, because you had to rotate shelves while cooking and the cleanup was awful. Gave it away. I have the Ninja foodie grill and LOVE it. I helped a friend get a Cosori you recommended and she is happy with it.

I’ve cooked with both styles, and I definitely prefer the air fryer oven style “hands down”. I can cook 2 separate dishes simultaneously between the 3 different sliding shelf’s. It has heating elements on the bottom and top, so the air circulation is double. Clean up is pretty simple, I usually line the solid tray with aluminum foil, so clean up is pretty simple and I usually cook in separate trays that can be washed with Dawn power wash. 👍

Oooo, you just saved me from making a mistake! I was going to sell my toaster oven and my air fryer and buy a combo toaster oven! But when I saw the mess, I said nope! Now I'm considering getting a larger air fryer as I have a round basket. Thanks for this (and all the others) video!

I just wanted to say (maybe not sooo related to the video) but a big thanks to your videos that I found a while ago. They took away most of my fear of air fryers (I still have a bit of anxiety tho) and yesterday I ordered my first one (cosori 5,5) because of black friday deal it was 1/4 cheaper (usually wanted to buy myself it after chrstmas). I definitely will use your temp chart as guide and also rewatch tons of your videos before I use it and when I use it . I think without you I would have thought of the idea how nice it wouuld be to have one but I would never have had the courage to actually get myself one, so a big thanks to that! I think still your videos are the best when it comes to airfryers because you actually compare things and you explain it or show it in a way everyone understands! (one very sad thing tho is that here in my country (I heard from sone of whole EU) that there are no types with shake reminder sold. It would have been perfect tho hahahah

If you got the cosori 5.5 it has a shake function. I'm in the UK and mine has it.

I have the Ninja 5 in 1 smart cooker. It will do all kinds of things but I use it almost exclusively as air fryer. It is 5.8 quart capacity. It also has a thermometer that plugs in to the front so you can select the kind of meat and desired level of “doneness”. Perfect every time! It has been out for a few years so price point is lower than Dreo. I also like that it opens like a clam shell so easy to access food. And I put pan in dishwasher for cleaning. I have a Cosori as well. With large family often need 2 going at once. My kids prefer to use the cosori.

Which one is more convenient to use? Ninja grill type which opens upwards or Cosori type?

I prefer the ninja that opens upwards. I feel like I can access the food easier. Also, I don’t need a place on my counter to rest the basket as I add/stir/rotate food. I also have the larger size so basket is a rectangle. It isn’t as deep as cosori but has more surface area. I can make 6 burgers at 1 time.

@@cajunjenny43 Ninja uses Ceramic coating on its baskets and plates which I prefer to Teflon. I will probably buy Ninja Speedy cooker as my first air fryer. It adds steam option to air frying.

I just bought my first air fryer bf seeing your video! I ended up buying the 4qt Gourmia from Walmart for $50 with a 2 year warranty. The interface is excellent with every button well lit, and pretty self explanatory. It's for myself and my mom who's 70. She's a young 70, and not computer savvy lol. Now I'm thinking if I should've gotten the Cosori 6qt that you mentioned? The one I got is super light, and is 1500 watt. Do you think it'll be too small for us, and which Cosori would you recommend? I really enjoyed watching your video. Very informative! Thanks!

Nice shtick you have! I'm liking the Cosori Dual Blaze or Dreo ChefMaker CombiFryer. Gadget man from way back who likes the temp probe concept...if accurate? Might also be good unit for an old-schooler who invariably overcooks meat, poultry and fish. Thanks!

I just purchased the Dual Blaze because of your recommendations. It will arrive Friday and I can't wait to try it. I also purchased your cookbook, cheat sheets, and some of your recommended tools. I'm a grandma but I usually cook for 6-7 people each day and needed something quick and easy to clean. I have the Breville oven and paid over $400 for it. We use it to toast and bake every day and love it for that. But I air fried chicken (had parchment paper in it) once, and it was a clean up nightmare so we'll never use the air fry part on it again. Question- what is the oil that you use in the spray bottle?

Cathy used olive oil. But from what I’ve heard you can also use grape seed oil or avocado oil as well.

@@coolstamper Rapeseed oil is best and you waste your money if you use olive oil because you are burning out the goodness you pay for.

How are you liking the dual blaze airfryer?

Instead of checking temperature all of the time with a thermometer, I bought a Brio with a temperature probe. Very happy with it.

Hi . Which air fryer will be great for people going to the gym ? Mainly for chicken breast, veggies? Please help

I am a single, elderly, almost an octogenarian who purchased the Cosori pro 2, 5.8 quart air fryer based on your recommendation, a year or so ago, and I absolutely love it. It cooks very fast and is easy to clean. I also like the parchment paper basket, liner inserts to catch the juices and grease from some of the foods. Based on your review, I donated to the Quickstart production of the Dreo Chefmaster and I own one now. It’s a little intimidating, but what I have cooked in it so far is impeccable. Absolutely delicious. Well worth the investment for the souse vid air fry combo. I wonder if you might consider creating a few videos showing many of the features of the Dreo from your perspective. Great review and I especially loved your review on the Dreo ChefMaker! I checked their website and they were actually sold out! I then tried Amazon and they had a really good 30% off coupon (I assume for Mother's Day) so I bought one!!! We've made pork belly and steaks so far and both were fantastic.

I have bigger air fryers at home, but I work out of my truck 12 hours a day and I keep a 2 quart air fryer in my truck it’s small and doesn’t take up much room but it works very good gets hot really fast

Hi Rita, I have yet to find an oven style air fryer that doesn't get hot on the outside and is a pain to use.

Hi how about window air fryer? Here in Spain there's a cecotec 6.5L Fantisyik air fryer window . What do you think of them . Not so expensive as well.

Could you tell me if that dreo combi chef maker gets as hot as the power XL air fryer ⁉️

Is there an airfryer that cooks chicken and then I can use same pan to make gravy using juices. I like the look of cosori dual blaze. I have has a cosori for about 3 years and love it. Thank you for your advise video's. Ann

Do you think the Cosari TurboBlaze 6 quart with the screen on the top would be difficult for someone who is short and the unit will be on the counter under cabinets? Probably not, but since I'm torn between that one and the Cosari Pro II 5.8 qt (screen on the front), I'm just trying to think of everything!

After watching your video I was keen to get the Cosori TurboBlaze, however, it is not available in Australia!! The only Cosori’s available are the Premium and Smart 5.5 litre (CP158 & CS158). Now tossing up between one of these or the Ninja Air Fryer Max - AF160. Which would you recommend?

Any recomendations for a stainless steel unit? Teflon heating to a very hot degree may not be a great idea. Bad things can leech out!

I liked the Pro 2 5.8 qt I tried the 6 quart with the dual blaze I hated the pull out tray in the bottom and I got rid of it.

Would love to see a review of turboblaze vs dual blaze!

It just cooks everything to perfection. Meats are still juicy. It makes great garlic bread. I really haven't found anything I haven't liked. In fact I just bought another one for my daughter in-law.
