Thanks for this video! This is exactly how I collect as well and it’s so fun. I have a smaller budget so I stick to PSA 8 or 9. Another really fun one is the 1994 N-Tense set. Relatively affordable and a great checklist.

I love my 1996 topps finest set. The silver and gold short prints brought us color variation ideas. Affordable but a huge set to assemble is you want the entire set. Great draft class to collect all the RC refractors slabbed. Just my 2 cents

Great content and selections mate!! My favorite and prob most eye appealing insert is 1997 Ultra Stars (silver or gold), and also the 1997 Metal Universe Titanium (you techincally get 2 MJs in the set because Penny’s feature MJ)… both quite affordable. Have a great vacation and stay safe!

Entertaining video and great idea. I think the pop reports of the lesser valued players demonstrate which sets are more desired in my opinion. As a collector I definitely think its a solid play, but I also appreciate 90s sports cards. The new collector may not appreciate it the same way. I also believe someone should buy a used Beckett from the late 90s or early 2000s. It contains tons of card information like pack odds, set totals. Plus you can compare the value ratios from Jordan to others for some relative comparison.

All great pieces of advice and all true! 90s insert set collecting may not be a thing as of right now but as Newark collectors in the hobby educate themselves it may become something one day. I think 90s insert sets could appeal to both collectors and investors alike

@@cajuncardboard I also think if psa can introduce cheaper value grading options for these smaller cards again it will make this a more appealing market to grade.

Well for MJ I collect both base and MO parallel. For the set it would probably be easier and cheaper to collate in base rather than members only but that’s just a guess.

That's right brother Love the 90s cards and the MJ's. Took me a while to find your channel. Love your card collection and I want to def mimic this collection. The 90s inserts are something else man. This is the best time to strike these cards before people realize they're getting a bargain. I created a youtube channel to and base a lot of my stuff around 90s cards... check it out whenever you have time. Good luck in finishing your collection.

Thank you for the content; it's a good hang. I was laughing, I go to eBay and punch in 1998 SkyBox Intimidation Nation and see a Ryan leaf card (turned out to be a pretty good guy in later years). Um, the problem isn't for lack of things to collect, it is shutting that urge off. For instance, I have about $1000 worth of bids out on eBay, and am fighting the urge to buy an Evel Kneivel patch card.
