Not all sports... I believe Jordan to be the GOAT of basketball, but even MJ himself believes it's unfair to compare players from other eras....and I agree with that statement.

All Jordan stuff is going up. Guys that buy these cards aren't flippers, thier collectors. So these cards are being bought and put in collections forever. The 90s, hands down, best decade for inserts ever.

what people are failing to understand... is this is a new asset class for many with deep pockets.. this is beyond just a hobby and collecting cards... these are pieces of rare... limited arts... sealed in proper condition forever.... these are history... what the current hobby is built upon... these technologies in these cards were never seen before... even these prices... will be too low years from now as more people gravitate

I first followed you, shortly after getting back into it with NHL 3 years back.I dont collect NBA anymore.but needed info in grading. You schooled me when I was looking for grading content, and am grateful for it My main point is , for what its worth, you're a real pro, and even though you do no NHL, you're content still is legit and to the point, that Im still engaged. Keep it up homie

90’s inserts are the best! After I watched your video I picked up a 94-95 sp championship playoff leaders Jordan PSA 10.

Glad seeing you back. To me, I only collect 90s parallels and some times, this kind of crazy sales make me wonder, what is rare and how are collectors defining things. I mean, we have a good estimation of how many of these inserts are there. Some are like 400 and some are like 200. I am not so sure, if a number to 100 PSA 5 1997 Platinum Medallion is more rare or a 1997 BGS 9.5 Jambalaya is more rare. (Recent PSA 9 Platinum sold for 24k) But a 1997 Jambalaya is having a higher value What I am saying, I mean, we can argue how some cards are gorgeous, like the Jambalaya has always been the best set in the 90s. But I have discussed with a lot of collectors, it seems like some of the time, for instance 1997 red PMG, it has been DEFINED as the best set of the 90s. (To me, it will be Ex-2001 now and future but we do not have the huge sales of the lower number pair from the market data) And as a skeptics of PSA or all grading company thus far, will we have more PSA 10 of these sets? I do not know. (These happens to ptcg chase cards like lillie, people keep grading there 8/9 until getting a 10) I guess, if I am loaded and being a collector having a PSA 10 Jordan insert/parallel must be very satisfactory. But unlike having a 1 carat fancy red diamond that is internal flawless and best cutting, the current grading company just tell you it is a 10 or it is a 9 without telling you why and how it is so. I do not know the hype but I guess this is good for the market. Because after Jordan, there will be Kobe and so on and so forth. And let's hope it is not like the Tom Brady rookie tickie situation you have discussed.

In Northern Ontario, I swear I would call that a Skybox Zed-Force because not every country says Z-Force. Either way, the PSA Collector said MJ cards are going up. Especially from the 1990's. Jordan is the GOAT and he's my favourite athlete of all-time.

I got so many Jordan cards. Its crazy. Over 200. I know some of the Jordan cards are only worth a few dollars but who doesn't like Micheal Jordan cards, right? Jordan has a lot of rare cards too that i worth big money. I have a few of the 88 fleer and about 20 of the 1988 coca cola cards. I just hang on to them because its Micheal Jordan. @@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR I have graded 21,000 cards since I started working for them. It was 2021 when I graded those. Only proof I have is my notebooks I have 7 spiral notebooks that I write notes on submissions.

I love the fleer hat, I wore mine proudly. I hold many raw 90's mjs and kobes i pulled back then. Rep knoxvegas

Well, there are still some out there in garages, attics, and closets that the owners may not know the value of. You just have to go and seek them out! Or just buy low grades and be happy with that. 🙌 I had a binder full of Tom Brady rookie cards, FULL, that was left in my parents garage when I went to the military and on leave when I came home to visit and get them they were destroyed because the roof had leaked - and I threw them in the trash... So, maybe this will make you feel better.. I still hurt thinking about this to this day 😅

Kobe inserts will be the next big ones to get. He has many sick ones like Jordan.

Ughhhhhh I can’t believe I missed the heritage auction for the 93 finest jordan refractors I would have easily paid $20,00-,24,000 for this lot makes me sick I missed it!! I’ve built 16 93 finest refractor sets and of course it would of been great to hoard them for my next set builds…god I wish I didn’t see this makes m e sick I missed this lot!!

I recently inherited my dads 90s basketball cards. Alot of 90-91 mj stuff. From what i understand only the 97-98 mj cards are sought after?

I thought buyers premium is over like $50k

It applies to most auctions as far as I know, unless you use the buy it now option, then it may not apply. Buyers premiums cover things like taxes, shipping and auction house fees essentially but it varies.

Damn man these cards piss me off. Y mom gave some cards to my brother that lives in another state and I'm not sure what she cards she gave from us growing up. I mean she gave me all my metal universe and zforce and mist of my cards, but I know I had more cards and its hard getting my brother to look amd show me so I can tell him what's valuable. It's not a big deal if he had some of my cards I just want to see so I can get anything graded that's valuable. I told him I'd split the money on anything. So I'm working on it. He isn't like die hard collector like me. So it's hard getting him to send me pics. Poopdick😂😊
