Cajun cardboard is a KZread channel featuring basketball card collecting and investing, fantasy basketball content and general historical and modern NBA Basketball content. There will also be SOCCER content available in a separate playlist on my channel entitled "100% Soccer" and the thumbnails for those videos will be marked as Soccer.
You can also find great my Cajun Cardboard content on the "Luka Nation Network" on KZread and all podcast platforms, including these two great weekly Monday and Friday episodes:
Every MONDAY MORNING (On Luka Nation Network YT Channel): I release a summary video of the top 100 highest selling basketball cards from the PWCC Weekly Auction that ended the night before.
Every other FRIDAY afternoon I publish a new Episode of EXPLORE THE CARD which is a highly detailed analysis of a single Michael Jordan insert or parallel card from the 1980s or 1990s including detailed pictures, population history, pricing, availability, and comparable cards. This is a must watch for any true Michael Jordan card collector.
There will be tons of other content in addition to these 2 regular weekly episodes. There will be a heavy emphasis on Michael Jordan cards as well as other cards from the 1990s in addition to many videos regarding INVESTING/PROSPECTING in basketball cards. You will also find content including box breaks, grade reveals, PSA, BGS, Michael Jordan cards, 1990s basketball cards, lebron james cards, nba cards, Luka Doncic cards, Shaquille O’Neal cards, Giannis Antetokounmpo Cards, vintage basketball cards, as well as hobby current events, etc.

All of the slabbed cards I personally own that you see in these videos are in my PWCC Vault in Tigard, Oregon. I chose to store these cards in my PWCC Vault to lower costs, insure them, protect them and eliminate the concern of damage resulting from fire, flood, humidity, theft or Cajun Alligator attacks down here in Louisiana. I do not hold any of my Graded Cards in my personal possession or in my home.

I had a huge stack of Jordan cards from the early 90's, was a huge fad here in Australia for a couple of years, 92-95 and at some point I was like I am just going to collect Jordan cards only, then my mum cleaned my room out and threw them all out 😄 Looking to start collecting again I think some of the nicest cards still come from this period, these days all the rainbow refractor flash sht is out of control.
Holy smoke man! take a breathe! 😂

Hahaha. It’s a blessing and a curse!!! (Deep breathe). 😂😂😂
Man, I love how your preach to not reach. I gotta get better at this, thanks Brian
I pulled the base special forces jordan from a pack in 1997 and still have the card to this day! Definitely wanna get it graded!
Very interesting video. The '92 fleer all-stars Jordan was a shocker. Looking in my 2002 Beckett price guide, it says the all-stars insert set is listed as condition sensitive. They don't describe many sets as like that. Put it in perspective the '97 precious metal gems aren't even listed as condition sensitive. Plus in the all-stars inserts the Jordan has an exclamation point beside it, marking his card as particularly extra condition sensitive. Not sure what's going on there, but ya, must be some crazy reason for the super low gem rate.
Amazing content as always. 🎉
That card is tight. I have the Jordan Flight Club Newsletter with the same action shot; except he is up in the sky dunking. Both are dope. Cool video!
All-stars 1992-93 Fleer used to have several of them. Nice card of one Jordan's first inserts, pre Scoring Kings The 92 Total D is tough also with those boarders that chip. easily.

Crazy card. Especially lately. 🤯 Josh Dawson has them all. That’s my theory. 😂
200 for a psa 9 and 14k for a Psa 10. Utterly ridiculous.
Whoa. Def not the cards I was expecting. Those def are the concord 11s 😍

To be fair Jake there are 5 billion other MJ cards that fit the bill!!! 😂😂😂
I wish I knew this information. I had one and I am pretty sure it was a foil. The only reason I sold it or reasons, 1. Needed the money, 2. It had a smidge of a soft corner. At the time if it wasn’t going to get a PSA 10 I sold them. Live and learn. Thanks for the knowledge my guy, good stuff. Have a good one 🤙🏽
Bro another great video, good information, I've the behind the glass and the special forces cards ungraded besides hundreds of Jordan cards. Keep the good work.

Let’s do it!!!
It’s so weird that you are talking about these 3 cards because I just purchase the Special forces on PWCC $1710.00 and I am having the behind the glass card getting graded right now which I feel looks great, of course it will come back a PSA 8. Brian have you notice that a lot of the better Jordans or even the Lebron James cards are not in the PWCC auctions any longer. I feel that people are realizing they are getting top dollar for their semi rare cards on different sites. I think you have mention this in a another video indicating not has many eyes are on their site. You have to ask yourself this question, why did they change their policies on allowing extending bidding. I feel people are not getting what they expect in return hence allowing everyone to bid.

100000% agree. When the price gets to low people opt to hold rather than sell. When demand dries up prices will stabilize then steadily rise. That’s what we are seeing with many rare MJ and Lebron and others.
Not 100% Exactly sure why ONLY Jordan Foil but I Believe it was a "Test Issue" which no one wanted to keep but Jordan! The FOIL is a "Flat Foil" without the "Waves" in the background. Seems we Share some of the Same Chases as I have a BGS 9.5 (POP 3) Fleer All-Star and Recently passed on a BGS 9.5 Special Forces on PWCC Weekly as it looked like SHIT TBH!! Keep up the Great Videos!! 👍
Would you consider buying a BGS 9.5 and then cracking it and submitting it to PSA in hopes of pulling a 10? That could be pretty lucrative, but also could result in some losses. Let me know what you think.
@cajuncardboard

I’d never consider that as I personally collect bgs 9.5. I’m sure others would and have, just not me. 👍

I have the jordan special forces foil ... did not know it was desired like that ?

What's the difference?
@marcokalion7293
3 ай бұрын
@gmangman one has a special foil texture and another version is a plane glossy picture. So it's alot more Rare because of the Shiney stadium metal type foil in the background of the card . Jordan himself is not foiled on the card only the star design itself

@@marcokalion7293 that would be difficult to see though.

@gmangman when you see it in person you get the idea . But unfortunately he does not have the card in this video so it does not look very special
I do have these 3 cards and want to get them graded, Where should I have them graded?
@cajuncardboard

Psa or bgs are the two primary graders of 90s era cards.
I don’t collect Jordan, but I was a newer collector I feel I learn logic from your videos to apply to other markets
