Been around trucking all my life… practically grew up in a truck with my dad, and I’ve been driving just shy of 10 years…. I enjoyed this song!
Wow what a great song! I can relate to this song so well. I was a trucker for many years. Relationships just didn't work well. Now I'm no longer trucking and living single. Fantastic song coming from my favorite country singers grandson. Waylon and I traveled many miles out on those roads. He was riding shotgun loudly!

Trucking is hard on a family. And its harder if they have children. You have to truly love your trucker to make it work. Trust has to be a major subject, and both have to hold to it. I know so many good marriages going to hell after one took a trunking job. Lose their trust.

Hate to hear all that but sadly, it is a big demand being away from family. It’s a tough job and I’m thankful there folks out there that don’t what they do to help keep this country rolling.
