I am a Christian and I love the book of Enoc. And the reason I found out about is because it is referenced in the Bible Jude 5-14. But I could see why this book spiritually would be a challenge to some believers. Beautiful series in this book. Thanks

In that Parable I saw how a mighty quaking made the heaven of heavens to quake, and the host of the Most High, and the angels, a thousand thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand, were disquieted with a great disquiet. Of course, Genesis says that he lived only to 365, and he was no more, for god took him Many believe that he was transformed into an angel named Metatron...none the less, at the age of 365, Enoch ceased to exist according to Genesis.....and according to the book of Enoch, he lived to 500+ take your pick, either Genesis is a lie, or the book of Enoch is a lie

@@mynamemylastname7179 great, that doesn't deal with the issue that in Genesis, it says that he was no more......so, for something to be accepted by biblical canon, it can't disagree with that......unless the translations are wrong........my math puts Enoch at 860 years old

I’d like to know where the spirits that resided in the Nephilim bodies were sourced from when they were born, as they were the result of crossbreeding being half fallen angel, half human women. Their souls couldn’t have come directly from God like when human beings are born, but they also couldn’t have been purely angelic either, as they were known as the earth born, and that’s why their disembodied spirits are stuck on Earth after the flood.

It makes sense that they would have it because they live close to the ancient land of Babel... See as how everyone spoke the same language then and they were all descendants of Noah who would have brought all the writings from before the Great flood.

I honestly agree with that. There’s absolutely no proof that any of the Bible is true. The scary part is that most people haven’t even read the Bible and if they had they would know it’s a horror story. You have the Israelites god who is Yahweh (who’s the Bible’s “God”) committing and commanding the most evil and torturous acts imaginable. He allows the rape of women where the rapist gets to marry the victim,murders millions of innocent CHILDREN,demands HUMAN sacrifices,promotes incest and slavery and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The “God” of the Bible is an evil,murderous god who is 100% not my almighty,loving creator God who’s in all of us. People need to actually read the Bible or even KZread some of it where other people explain it to actually realize how evil it really is. One more thing I have to add cause it’s so sad people don’t call this out. The first paragraph of the Bible where “God” says…”Lets make man in the image of us”. Wtf do you mean us…who’s us? The Ethiopian church you talking about is the coptic church , they came to be when the concil or church of nicea , cannoizing the bible and changing it , even the look of Yeshua (Jesus to the slow ones) so they left and did their own thing and took the REAL bible w/them (mind you its the OLDEST living bible on earth) so thats why it has the book of Enoch and other apocryphal text in it along w/its original pictures ... After a time, my son Mathusala took a wife for his son Lamech. 2. She became pregnant by him, and brought forth a child, the flesh of which was as white as snow, and red as a rose; the hair of whose head was white like wool, and long; and whose eyes were beautiful. When he opened them, he illuminated all the house, like the sun; the whole house abounded with light. 3. And when he was taken from the hand of the midwife, opening also his mouth, he spoke to the Lord of righteousness. Then Lamech his father was afraid of him; and flying away came to his own father Mathusala, and said, I have begotten a son, unlike to other children. Thing about the book of Enoch is that it adds nothing important or of any note to actual scripture. Therefore, I do not at all understand why some people say it should be added to the Bible especially since it contradicts scripture at times and was not actually written by Enoch. A lot of people into prophecy or who claim to have prophetic gifts love this book (prophecy being something I’m highly interested in myself) yet they lack the wisdom to discern false prophecy and scripture. I believe it is far more likely that the sections quoted in scripture from the book of Enoch did not originate there. Rather, that book of Enoch itself quoted these known ideas and claimed them for itself. There’s really no proof (to my understanding) that such “quotations” in canonical scripture originated from the book of Enoch and not somewhere else.

It's referred to in the Bible and there's info like sirens mermaids that I don't think should be not looked at in depth since there's the cave paintings of merpeople. If this is second temple period then that's the temple Jesus had been to in the Bible.
