The Twin Falls City Park Historic District was nominated to the National Register of Historic Places was officially listed on March 30th, 1978. The district is architecturally significant for its inclusion of many of the city (and several of the states) finest ecclesiastical and public buildings. Besides the park with its lava rock bandstand and mature trees, this 20-acre district includes five churches, two apartment buildings, two professional offices ,the county courthouse and Judicial building, the public library, the former American Legion Hall, and the former high school (now the site of the Twin Falls County Jain.)
