Hopefully all these folks moving from Cali and out of state don't bring their politics and worldviews with them. TN is the way it is because of the natives that grew up here, respect our way of life and don't expect us to adapt to yours.

I’m native Central Valley California, use to be red, now it’s a deep purple turning blue. I don’t recognize policy, policing, education here anymore. My family is looking to move to Tennessee and one of my concerns is moving to a place that’s turning purple. A realtor recommended Farragut for us. Is that where they’re sending all the Californians with families looking for great schools?

@@kathyporter9614 Not sure but TN is deep red. Lots of guns, pickup trucks and country folk immediately outside of city areas.

Wrenchrat if its Red still that makes me happy! I used to play music professionally and I cant believe how BLUE the Country industry has become so Im thinkin Knoxville instead of Nashville. And Kathy god bless❤. Many Californians are Red and good, respectful people.

If you want cookie cutter development, small lots, crowded schools, and traffic, Hardin Valley is perfect.

Personally, I prefer quaint and quiet neighborhoods with older houses that have character on larger lots. I grew up in “the valley of hearts delights” where there were orchards of almonds, walnuts, cherries and apricots, and vineyards. We knew our neighbors and went to school with the same kids from kindergarten through high school.

You actually want to live in Farragut, one of the most prestigious areas in Knoxville. They are building a huge new town square and Turkey Creek shopping is right around the corner, not to mention you're close to the lake and many beautiful parks.

Hardin Valley is because of my family. Not many of older ones are still living. I have one uncle still left, and a few cousins. My grandmother married into the Hardin family.

Traffic is terrible. Who knows how long it will be before they upgrade Hardin Valley Rd.

Yes. Hardin Valley is still booming. There are only a few bars right in Hardin Valley however Farragut is only 2 or 3 miles across the interstate from Hardin Valley. Farragut and Turkey Creek have several bars. Top Golf just opened up next to the Lovell road exit on I 40. That is only 2 or 3 miles from Hardin Valley.

Start building some new roads instead of building new neighborhoods. Greed greed greed.
