Coming from a Swedish family, we never ate good stuff like this until I ended up dating a Mexican girl, and she cooked me the best Mexican food ever, to this day..it's my favorite food! I can't go back to Swedish cuisine. I need the flavor and spice now.

Jay Kemme It’s not an American thing, in México they’re called “ Tacos callejeros” which translates to street tacos sooo ur wrong!!!

Rulo is right you will never finish trying out new taquerías in Mexico City but that makes it exciting.

Tacos cucuyos is definitely one of the best ever. I’ve been there many time but I will never forget having it at 4:30 am.

There's a place that is two stories tall, or three - it's right outside El Zocalo in Mexico City; this is the best taco place I've ever been to. It's usually packed, there are lines sometimes, but if you can get a seat you're guaranteed one of the best meals ever. We had all the types they had (I was traveling with a group), and everyone was completely floored with how good everything was. Not surprised - no such thing as a bad taco in Mexico.

While I'm not Mexican I love Mexico & its people (for the most part) & I thank you for covering something other than narco violence. Mexico has a great culture which has inspired much of American society, something a lot of Americans fail to realize.

Not a single taco shell on sight, this is actual Mexican food.

Not much I miss about CA but tacos al pastor is one. One guy near a bar off Figueroa by my old place on Mt. Washington in particular. Thursday Friday Saturday nights.

North East Ohio. I have family in and have traveled, driven, all over Mexico. Los Angeles has some really bad places and some outstanding ones and some phenomenal street food.

No, cuz the ingredients aren't same. Imagine an avocado with 3 day of refrigeration to one with few hours to have been cultivated. The taste is not equal in my opinion
