I fell in love with the “Chamoy” when my Mexican classmate introduce it to our German class. She brought it with some mangoes.
@pronak4410

It's pretty easy to make: get half a kilo of dried fruits: peaches, mangoes, or any kind of tangy fruits (your choice). Boil them with some hibiscus flowers ((Hibiscus sabdariffa). This is the most difficult ingredient to find) in half a liter of water. Let it cool and add one cup of sugar, powdered dried chilies (depends on how spicy you like it. Take note that sugar counters the spiciness) and a teaspoon of salt. Blend it and boil the mixture again until it thickens (around 5 minutes). Let it cool and presto. If you want more flavor, add orange and lemon juices to the mix, but be aware that this make the chamoy more runny.

@pronak4410

@@nothingbox4504 You could also find it in the tea section, since it's used to flavor teas, or herbology stores (where you can buy natural remedies and such), because it's used as a diuretic. If you find it, it's an amazing ingredient to have it in your kitchen: you can make a simple drink by boiling one liter of water and a cup of hibiscus flowers, let it cool and add sugar at your taste. It is known as "agua de jamaica" here in México and it's a staple in our culture. I'm glad that you liked one part of our culture!

Assistance Dog what do you mean stinky. Yeah it’s cheap because the ingredients are cheap and easy to make. Boy I don’t know what Chinese food you eat but I eat actual Chinese food (I make it at home or when too lazy I go to a real Chinese restaurant.) also Chinese food is forrrrrr CHINESE PEOPLE, I always see other ethnic group serve their own food to their own group/ethnicity. Chinese food is mainly fresh. I’ve tried korean and Japanese food and they are not as good as Chinese food (in my opinion.)
