I found random bone blocks while in a cave, I couldn't see much of it because it was mostly in the wall. I didnt think much of it and moved on. I didn't know fossils existed til now. It's disappointing that I didn't get a screenshot.

My theory is that the giant zombies (which you can summon with commands), actually existed thousands of years ago and went extinct, and their bodies decomposed into these fossils that were covered in sand overtime.

Yesterday i was roaming around the desert on my horse when i saw a desert temple. I quickly rode to it to be surprised by a huge hole with some floating sand. Luckily there was some water flowing down, saving myself from death. on the other hand, my horse was skydiving into a secret ravine to only be pushed into lava. Me knowing how fast my horse is and not being able to find ones like him, i jumped down the rest of the way and blocked off the lava pool near. i searched around a bit for maybe some ores or diamond but saw none, so i decided to tower up, having my horse hang like a rag-doll on my lead. Then i saw it. this bony looking structure burrowed in the wall, halfway out. i became overjoyed that i had found what could be the rarest structure in the game. i had seen this video before but did some more research. this was the first ever sighting i had seen of this in game. i eagerly took my cordinates and headed back home thinking about how i found something so profound. even when i first saw this video, i became skeptical, thinking maybe its just a joke and he wanted to make a cool thing seem real. but now i know that this is real. im still pretty shocked i got this lucky. if you read all this way good for you.

You could add more bone blocks on the surface or add some fossil nearby to have more of that theme feeling of a expedition.

I love that Minecraft added fossils to the game. It's subtle stuff like that that makes a game good and authentic.

I remember playing a Survival in ps4 with a friend and finding a fossil. That was like 1 hour in a triple skeleton spawner farm. Speaking about its bone meal.

You can also place the Grindstone on the ceiling, so it's hanging down and the stone will be connected to the fences ;)

Honestly, a lot of people don't know about them. They are such a rare feature, so they are very unknown. A lot of people don't know about the Stray mob either.

I watch all these minecraft channels and i just feel like they do the same feel of the game, the overly giddy intro with sound effects, and the "dont forget to smash the like and subscribe" catchphrase, they just feel like they do minecraft for the money, i hope this guy doesnt change, the fact that he uses his inner child to think of these creative things like an excavation site for fossils, man come on, who on earth wouldnt think thats cool, props to you good sir for really being creative and capitalizing on how minecraft should be played

I've always enjoyed those concept art designs of what the fossils used to be. It gets your brain gears turning, and it makes Minecraft that much more enjoyable for me.

Literally, Pixelriffs is the calmest person in the word. There was a creeper jump scare and he didn’t even flinched.

They say (or I say) that these fossils are from the ancient beings long ago. These old players called them “Giants”.
