MG road stretch in Gangtok is awesome! A number of eateries. Baker's cafe is amazing. Interiors are retro and trendy at the same time. Food is delectable. Their mousaka was delicious! So were patisserie items.

She needs to make these videos again! 😭

Can you please tell me, Is that 9'ine Restaurant is really cheap according to price or it was special preference for u as you are Travel Vlogger ? Don't get me wrong. I asked cz ur video helps the city & the restaurants in promotion. Is the price really less coz i would definitely go there for lunch or dinner. Please do reply.

Nine is the best 😋 they have amazing veg as well as meat dishes esp with fermented soyabean

i never knew you could get beef in India..mental..haha will have to try when i visit this FRIDAY!!

Your videos are very nice but one suggestion is try to eat more often at local shops or thelas coz most of the time you eat at lavish restros which will taste same all over India except few signature dishes.

omg my mouth is waterinng.. im nepali and i just cant get enough of momos :D btw i went to golden dragon when i was there :) but when i went there it was quite late so i coudnt enjoy all the foods :P

I have gone to Gangtok last month... Beer and wine are too cheap there... I mean you can get drink at a half price there as compared Delhi... Even at the bar cost of 1 bottle of beer is equal to cost of 1 bottle of beer of Delhi's normal shop. Non-veg items are fine and tasty...but it's difficult for vegetarian people there as all the veg food items like rice,chapati,vegatables aren't of good taste... only momos taste good there...

Shreyosi Bala You could try Netuk house! Not many people know of this guesthouse but it's one of the most authentic places to stay at. I stayed there last year during my visit and I was blown away by the kind of service they provide. Very humble and efficient staff. I didn't have to go out as they have an indoor restaurant but this video is definitely helpful! I would like to add up Baker's cafe in the list of eateries :)

you can share your experience with us everytime its great for us we enjoy a lot but its not that about a hindu who should not eat cow or if you are not hindu you can eat but its about a humanbeing that he should not kill a innocent even if its a cow or hen or anything because he enjoy eating it goo and see when they are cutting a cow he is prone to death without any reasoj he want to also enjoy his life but we humanas like animals regardless that god has given us vgegetables to eat we should also eat one another tahn and enjoy eating

To answer your question, momos, as far as i know, are of three types. The first one is made of meat usually chicken, pork or beef wrapped around in maida or flour made up of wheat. The second one, is the veg type, made up of cabbage and onions, which i must say tastes equally good. The final or the least known of all the three is made up of churpi, a traditionally prepared cheese mixed with spinach. To be fair, they all taste good.

AS far as I know Indians come in many shades. White, Brown, and in between so do their food taste. India has vegetarians as well as non vegetarians. So its their choice.
