As per rule tourists should not buy, only residents can buy and carry But still there are many tourists who buys from here and go back to india wearing them. Its a risk they take. Risk hai to ishq hai 😉

As a tourist you are not eligible to buy tax free, you will have to pay to custom office at indian Airport. But many people buy and wear them while crossing airport. It's upto you

Legally any gold which you bring to India as a tourist from outside is liable to custom duty. So if custom officials catch you then you will have ro pay duty. Having said that many tourists still buy and take gold after wearing them, its a risk they take.

Vat refund u can apply at airport But as per Indian customs rule as a tourist you have to pay custom duty. But there are many tourists buying from here and wearing it and going without issues with custom. All the best
