40 gm and 20 gms is correct for women and men but allowed only in case when the person is coming to india after residing in abroad for minimum 6 months and the custom duty is not 12.5%. it is 38.5%

I don't get you calculation bro. You said 20gm for males and 40 for females. 45000 Rs per 10 gm. Then 20 grams would cost 90k and 40 grams would cost 1.8 lakh. But then you have mentioned 50k for males and 1 lakh for females. How!?

Sir, u have to gain more clarity, if you came as tourist visa there is some limitations, if you are on employment visa and living in UAE more 6months then u carry Rs. 50K gold. Customs not only 12.5 others charges apx it reach 35% extra charges which is more expensive
