There’s enough mined diamonds for everyone to have at least a carat and there’d still be plenty left over. It’s not a rare mineral at all, gem certified internally flawless diamonds are. But they’re practically indistinguishable from S or SI diamonds to the unaided human eye. The prices are due to the monopoly and marketing. If you want genuinely rare stones look for gem quality un-heat treated sapphires and rubies

Mayor of the Galaxy I disagree he’s been lowering prices plus people don’t take you seriously in the fashion realm with trukfit prices. Also he doesn’t print on Goldman it’s the quality. You probably go to stores like H&M and cop clothes there. I don’t think you understand. Also kanye has to design and make his designs happen and get enough money to pay all the distributors and everyone involved. Make enough money for the next product to invest back into the business also. Plus prices are going up for designer as there is a new motive to be more eco friendly with the production of clothing because it’s one of the top polluters of the planet. Plus many designers don’t have sweatshop workers including kanye. It’s about not cutting costs to have a real product that is harm reduced.

If you were spoiled with that family income then fine, but that is poverty level and most would struggle. MsJamacian but Vinyl records are a distinctly analog medium which doesn’t need any digital tech attached to it, and therefore can be timeless in some sense. CD’s will become entirely out of date and irrelevant at some point. Maybe there will be a revival, and they’ll stick around purely due to the low production costs, but they won’t be 100s of years old like Vinyl Records. Don’t get me wrong, I love CDs, but a Vinyl Record was entirely the right medium for this project.

Not even, up until this century diamonds where only valuable because royalty said they where. De Beers is credited for making the marketing campaign "diamonds are forever" and effectively made the idea of a non diamond encrusted engagment ring absurd. Traditionally rings where gold, silver or other alloys depending on the family/ region. However Debeers made them a luxury that the upper class should not be the only ones to waste money on a shiny rock that every person should spend a quarter of their annual salery on a ring. But hell that keeps me employed.

I think it’s ironic justice that this album is just collecting dust not even being appreciated by one person and the one person that owned it treated like shit. Nice Job Bobby, your fans and artists deserved much more.
