Don't worry too much, Liz (the real one) is still desperately trying to be in the limelight, with her talks in the US especially.

Oh Nerine, how lovely. The vox pops were wonderful. And you braved going into the conservative office. Lol. Had me laughing through out. Truss hasn’t been much use to her constituents but apparently has suddenly returned to Norfolk, but as far as I can see on local news, keeping a very low profile. I think if you had stood as an alternative Truss in her constituency, you would have probably won. I loved the guy on the bench who played along with you. Also when you said “I don’t like red” as if it was pre planed a red car slides into view behind you. Loved the where am I twist at the end.

It's funny when parody so closely resembles actual man-in-the-street interviews conducted by other channels.

I've heard of the Norfolk Broads - but this Norfolk broad is on a whole different level.

At this point, it would seem Liz might be re-elected to her seat in parliament while Sunak might end up third behind Count Binface in the polls. Good times.

That’s not certain. There’s a real possibility that the Lettuce could also lose her seat. Not sure what that means for her post-election? 🤔 Her book didn’t sell and there isn’t much demand on the after-dinner speech circuit for someone with less charisma than a glass of stagnant water.

that lightened up my day, thank you.... just discovered that my postal vote won't even reach me before the election ☹ i am so conflicted i want liz the lettice truss gone forever along with the rest of the tory party, tufen street and their parody reformuk. But then I wat to continue seeing your work making lizz truss look more normal and serious.

There are limited ways to present Liz Truss in a positive light; but here goes... Despite criticism of her short tenure as PM she is still not the shortest serving PM, the shortest died in the job, which is an added bonus. Comparing her to royalty the shortest reigning British Queen was Jane Gray who was ousted in 9 days and lost her head in the process. So in comparison she is doing quite well having escaped the prime minister ship with her head, her wealth and her pension. So when people tell you Liz Truss is the worst you can tell them no, but, damn she had a red hot go at it!
