Me who has been impacted by this. I actually did lose my childhood best friend I am still going through grief for some reason, when ever something happens to me like losing a very good friend instantly puts me right through every stage of grief it’s just “What did I do wrong was I not good enough for them” and ever since I lost that friend I have not been the same like no joke when ever I think of them I start to tear up but when ever I really want to see them again I just can’t bring myself to talk to them and my body just starts crying. I am emotionally unstable, also I was tearing up like 5 minutes ago

2:52 for reference, in the JJK0 movie, the author implied Gojo had told Geto "you're my one and only best friend" before killing him. Probably opening of the year cause I'm bias towards the storytelling (Also that it somehow gave insight on how Gojo felt after Geto had his breaking bad) All in all this is a banger.

It’s “THESE eyes,” which are supposed to see EVERYTHING. How is it your best friend that can literally see everything, couldn’t see how bad you were hurting. That’s crushing.

I like how you translated it to say “You’re my one and only best friend”, I feel that overall it is most fitting, since this was what Gojo told Geto in JJK 0

"You're my one and only best friend" is a direct reference to the manga, so I took some creative liberty to tie it more into that! It's the same principle, since I follow it up with "I wish I could have told you then"- an ongoing longing ^^ I'd explain more in depth, but I don't want to spoil anyone who may be reading this that is new to the series!
