Where Lives Are Changed - Romans 12:1-2 - Skip Heitzig
"When you’re through changing, you’re through!" So wrote American author Bruce Barton. It’s true, isn’t it? We’re all changing, all the time, for the better or for the worse. But for the believer, the change is dramatic and eternal. Over the years, we’ve seen thousands of lives change for the glory of God here at Calvary. Such a privilege is both humbling and inspiring. Let’s celebrate together as we consider what this change is all about and how it operates in us.
This teaching is from our series Where Lives Are Changed with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.

So awesome... Birth is an event, but growing up is an ongoing process..... This should be televised to the World
This is a message that pierces the heart. These verses is the path to sanctification. Our mind must be saturated with the divine truth. And in so doing, we will have the mind of Christ. But what is important is that we live this command of Christ (Romans 12:1-2). Everything in us - our soul, our body, and our mind belong to God. I come at the feet of the cross with a new sense of commitment and deep gratitude to offer myself a living sacrifice to be Your slave, forever serving you till my last breath.
My husband and I both found this to be an outstanding description of what the Christian life should be. The sermon was directed primarily to how God can and wants to change us inwardly - and that is what my husband and I can give testimony to! But as two seasoned Christians who had stopped searching for a new church home, after our move, and many disappointing visitations (appropriate word), we had become comfortable with not going to church anymore. After this sermon and sharing in this fellowship, I recognized a desire in my heart to be brought back into community again. With this message I have renewed hope for this change (and being part of a church again would be a change to our lives). Thank you Skip Heitzig and thank you Calvary of Albuquerque.
All I can say is Amen
