Where Jesus Was Born - Bethlehem | Episode 5 - Season 1 | The Holy Land
Visit the city of Bethlehem, a land filled with stories of provision and solutions. Meet Maher Canawati, an elected member of Bethlehem’s City Council, to explore the Church of the Nativity, the traditional site of Jesus’ birth. Uncover the connection between Old Testament and New Testament stories as you explore the oldest and most holy church in the world. Climb the church tower for views of Bethlehem that aren’t open to the public and reflect on how this land continues to remind us of the solution God provided through His Son, Jesus.

@@gulrehman4073 You can't blame an entire people for the actions of a few 2000 years ago. That's appalling and Childish. These are Yeshua's people. There are some Israelis who believe in him, they are Messianic Jews.
Thank you Jesus
How lovely. The birth of Jesus in the Manger stands out in history. GOD IS SMART. Amen
I wish I could also relive my youth in a historical place like this.. BETHLEHEM.... but I was form in the most Southern point in South Africa. and can relive the history of my forefathers who came by boat in far away Europe to have freedom in their belief in Jesus... Maybe one day Jesus will show me His birthplace when He returns with Power and much Glory... What a day it will be

Thank you.
How lucky is he? To be so close to Jesus birthplace throughout his life xxx
I'm astonished, this looks like a large town or city. I guess the little town of Bethlehem has grown a lot and there are people living in houses built on what once was the field where David kept sheep.

Is it not in Migdal Eder, the correct location of where the Messiah should be born? Micah 4: 8-10?
Jesus did not come to build buildings! He came to lead humans to His Holy Father, to worship Him and Him only in Spirit and in Truth! He came to bring God’s Kingdom on earth and for us to seek ADONAI’s will to be done on earth at it is in Heaven! We do not worship by traditions, we worship by faith! Each member is a part of the Church! ✝️🧎♀️🙏

Why do they millions of people touch that? They need to protect/preserve that better. If they have baracades around paintings and at museums, they sure should have one here so you can look but not touch. Imagine the things (dirt/germs/oils/lotions/sweat, etc people have on their hands that get on that precious monument.
The church is not made with the hands of men nor bricks and mortar nor rocks or stones etc. The church of The living God are born-again believers who have repented (turned away from sins or a lifestyle /s that doesn't brings glory to God, turning away from dead works and then fully emerged in water in the Mighty Name of Jesus 🙌 for the Remission or washing away of the guilt of sin our consciences being purged from dead works and then being filled with the Holy Ghost and fire 🔥... The Spirit of God Himself. Acts 2 :38 Paul the Apostle says "NOW, the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty
It you don't have history you don't have a future
Was Jesus born in the country of Israel or Palestine? I’m hearing both.

Israel. It was known as Judea at the time. There is no such thing as a 'Palestinian state or people' and there never has been. 'Palestina' is a Roman colonial myth. The Romans renamed Judea 'Palestine Syria' at the end 'The Bar Kokhba revolt' (132-136 AD) A failed Hebrew revolt against the Roman Empire which led to the mass murder and displacement of the natives. The Israelites, Jesus's people referred to the Greek origin people who occupied the South of Israel in antiquity 'Philistines' which translates to 'Invaders' in Hebrew. Bethlehem is an ancient Hebrew village with a Hebrew name Bethlehem means 'House of Bread'. Islamists did not invade Judea until the 6th century, over 600 years after Jesus's time. Jesus was not a colonist or an invader not from Southern Europe or the Arabian peninsula, he was a Jew born in his native homeland Israel.

It would be an insult to refer to Jesus alongside anything related to the Roman Term 'Palestina'.
God help the Palestinians of Bethlehem as they try to survive the horrors of Israeli occupation and terror.
