Bro he’s the definition of a bust. First of all he did nothing to even deserve the hype in the first place. I was better at that age and bigger and you don’t see me in the NFL do you 😂 He’s 16 years old and stands at 5’7, I was already 5’10 at that age and never grew past 5’11. He’ll be lucky if he gets to 5’9 by college. He’s not even the best player on his team, let alone in his county, let alone in his state. I was the 3rd highest ranked WR in the state of PA in 2011, I played for Governor Mifflin HS and you can look up this info if you want. And I had none of the privilege this kid has, I came from nothing and didn’t have a SB commercial promoting me. If he’s not being talked about in sports headlines anymore, it’s because he’s nothing special. Unfortunately I didn’t have parents or role models and never played again once HS ended. But the point is if he was truly the prodigy y’all want him to be, he’d be destroying kids in his own age group. I was putting up 4 TDs in a game some weeks at that age, and making the local paper. He had to change teams twice already already after being forced on defense or the bench by two different coaches for not being good enough at WR. If he ever plays D1 college, it’ll be as a third string CB.

Man I just woke up and this is the first short I see, very motivating

If he stays healthy, has the right people around him and keeps his head level... he's gonna be special. Truth is, the coaches are probably... Intentionally bringing him along in a humble way. Let him learn early to earn everything he gets. That way, he's better prepared once the lights get brighter

The teacher “you’ll never make it because you’re way too small” and basically mocked me in front of the class. Plus you can't fight genetics. A LOT of kids are really good at football as kids. You weigh nothing and your structure can move that small body around easily. Without exaggerating, I was basically Barry Sanders as a kid, lol. When we played backyard ball in school or on weekends it was over. Whoever won the first pick chose me and it was over. Not tackled all day stuff. Then I turned 12...13...14 and I got a bit taller without being able to gain muscle mass very easily. I also wrestled so that may have had an effect but by 14yo I was just good at football, nothing really special. I was still really fast and a solid player but my ability to make 5 dudes miss in a photobooth was gone. Like, the dream of playing in college was over by about 15yo. My genetics made sure that ability I had as a kid didn't last no matter how hard I worked. This kid? One in millions of kids that can do incredible stuff because they're kids. Again, a quick twitch muscular system is OP when you're 4-8 and weigh 70lbs, lol. When you start to grow you better hope your natural genetics will allow you to maintain that and, obviously, most don't.

I've come to realize that kids show glimpses of their greatness, but not the whole picture. I coached a 7yo kid that was very shy and not very athletic, he was very short for his age as well. He loved sports and had a great work ethic to get better. By the time he made it to high school, he was about 6'3, and the greatest WR to come from the area. Just because a kid shows promise early, don't mean they gonna be great, and just because they don't show promise, don't mean they not. Coach every kid like a superstar, and let them decide if ur right. The kid I mentioned earlier is Julio Jones.

Thank God he’s 5’10. I feel like these child prodigies are cursed with short height. Lowkey hope this dude goes places, cause I remember seeing videos of him like a year or two ago

He was a 4 star and didn’t make varsity on a 6a team as a freshman. 3 years later, he took a full ride to oklahoma when Lincoln riley was there, and had many other big time offers.
