Judge Judy is a treasure. I appreciate her no-nonsense approach to cases. She's a hoot but also an extremely wise and sharp lady and very ladylike besides. I often think that what she says comes from a place of kindness that would benefit people if they would only listen to her. I could listen to her for hours. x

She was never actually a judge. She was an arbitration mediator. Just like Dr Phil was never a psychiatrist. He has some sort of lesser degree in psychology,but was never practicing.

On one side, she's political but on another side, she REAL & TRUE & HUMBLE.

Saw the Judge in London tears ago at the Apollo Theatre in London at the production Rainman with Josh Hart nett!! They paid homage to her in the script to and the audience cheered and applauded. She said she was humbled and very grateful for the love she received. Such a wonderful lady, a soul full of integrity and Light... ❤️

I worked for several judges in the Maricopa County Superior Court system. I always thought Judge Judy was as close to real life as real life was. She would not take crap from a litigant but would also understand the humanity of the participants. I liked her.

He was working crossword puzzles and seemed to be bored with his job (doing very little). He was also irritable at times with the litigants and audience. That is very noticeable and even JJ mentioned that she engages with Byrd so he will take an interest in the case. He was working crossword puzzles! I don’t know what he was thinking; he was making 1 million dollars a year for doing nothing much.

To me, the main difference in the two shows is how much nicer she seems on “Judy Justice”. Also, it’s pronounced “SHINED-lin”, not “SHAND-lin”.

I was Judge Judy WAS on the Supreme Court

I loved her interactions with Byrd which was missing in Judy Justice and after a few episodes, I dropped it. Didn't like her having to refer to people on computers ('that thing she couldn't understand' in the past), because she'd always used her own knowledge and unique senses in previous programs. Her uniqueness was gone for me. I did think she was cool with the ponytail, but Dr. Judy Sheindlin Justice just wasn't the same Judge Judy I'd watched and enjoyed for decades.

I've always admired and appreciated JJ commonsense and wisdom over the years. She is an American treasure.

Whoever says they didn't like her snippy attitude, I don't get it!!! Her sass makes her loved and famous!!!! Short yet seemed big with her sass!!!!

I saw her speak at a university in Dublin ireland about a decade ago she looked INCREDIBLE. Sharp as a tack dressed in pure silk white suit and amazing jewellery. Wicked funny, very blunt and gave no nonesne advice to the younger audience to work hard and not be delicate- well ahead of her time and I'm sure she's embarrassed by the safe space and snowflake era we are in now.
