Congrats!!! And yes, you have to collect with your heart. I've slowed down with Black Series, as well, but will still get my fav characters, but not worrying about having every fig of every wave. I also collect dolls and pops, so I need to choose wisely. You should be happy looking at your collection.

I truly understand. The economy has drastically curtailed my collecting too. I'm down to one line. Ironically, I'm only collecting the Black Series. Take care, Nicole. It's been a blast.

I had a weird journey in terms of me changing how I collect, I lost any interest in collecting any of them but ones that go with the dioramas I have been slowly making. So one is Black Spire in the sequel era, and Hoth in the OG era. I love prequels, I love Mando, and Rogue One, but for some reason I just don't want scenes for them. Letting me focus on more specific scenes is really liberating as it has a vision. I'm not just eating up everything Hasbro and Bandai put out, I'm selective if they fit these scenes, and if they don't, I just skip them. Not that I don't love them, they just don't have "a spot."

Funny thing is I haven't watched KZread in a bit & thought "Hey, I wonder what New Star Wars Black Series figures that Jedi Master girl has reviewed lately?" Lol At least you have a good excuse! Lol Being pregnant & saving for the baby is a good one plus Hasbro just seems to rerelease the same figures over & over. I only seen a few I would even want the last year or so. Well hopefully, you can still get the ones you really really like every now and then & a lot of them go on sale after a few months of being out so maybe save some $ too! Good luck with the building of your new family & May The Force Be With You All!!!

I've ebbed & flowed many times, and cut back when I lose interest (also cutting back on Black Series" specifically for the same reasons). Keep your family & new bubba as the priority, and congrats from Australia !

Congratulations on the baby, Jack! I stopped the Black series right after the Force Awakens. They just got too expensive. Along with the other things I collect. I also have the occasional exception. Plus, there's no playsets and very few vehicles. Plus, there's a few TVC and Lego sets I don't have that I want. Once again Congratulations to you and your husband on the Baby Boy!

@@JediMaster738 Like I said I really liked the Black Series when they first came out. But I collect Transformers, Retro G.I. Joe's from Wal-Mart and Hasbro pulse as well as TVC. And it just got to be too much, and now this Habro going plastic free on the packaging of the Transformers you can physically touch the Transformer in the box. They look like they belong on the dollar isle. So, the one's I like I get from BBTS Collector Grade because they wrap the whole box in plastic like a Christmas gift. So, no dust or fingerprints on the toy inside. I hope they don't go plastic free on TVC regular figs or the Retro line. Because the whole point is to make them look like the old 80's Kenner line. And the Haslab items have been lame except the Khatana Jabba's Sail Barge and the Razor Crest. They need to stick with TVC vehicles and playsets with the Haslab Star Wars items. a $500 Reeva lightsaber is not worth the $$. And I think it looks cheap. Plus, there are quite a few awesome looking LEGO sets that are out or coming out soon that I want. Thanks for reading my messages. Wooohoooo! Congratulations! Great Star Wars fans have great Star Wars children! As for the dropping of the Black Series for the 3.75 scale is the only reasonable way to collect. I gave up on Black Series last year and now I'm just Vintage Collection as 3.75 is the best scale of all time lol. I'm happy for you and please keep us updated and May the Force be with You!

I also am uninterested in the new reveals especially the Kenobi reveals. I just want more unique revenge of the Sith figures, and original trilogy releases that have brand new sculpts. A new Bespin battle damaged Luke and a new Anakin or Greivous sculpt for example.

I had friends that were like hardcore game players they were even partnered on Twitch. Needless to say they haven't touched games in like 6 months since there kid was born.

It's funny hearing you talk about losing interest in a certain line of figures because I felt the same way in regards to the Marvel Legends line. They're getting too much and too expensive, releasing dozens of variations of the same character.over and over again. I mean, how many Spidermans, Iron Mans and Captain Americas do we need? Every once in a while I might buy a figure for my collection, but it's very rare because I feel like I already have that certain character in a figure form already in the line already. On the Black Series it seems like they're following the same formula as the Marvel Legends figures do. I find myself wanting to collect more of the 3 3/4 inch figures because they look just as good, are cheaper and most of all are easier to store. I'm sure I'll pick up say the Andor figure with his droid in 6 inch form because he's the main character, but I'm going to pass on the other ones. Gotta stop and draw the line somewhere!

I’d say most longtime collectors have made changes at some point. I remember saying I was only gonna collect the cantina scene. 1000 figures later… yeah right. Then only OT & sold off tons of stuff. Then decided that was too narrow thanks to Clone Wars and Mandalorian. Currently I buy most carded TVC and decent amount of Black Series. I have come to love how 6” figures display.
