Judd comes across as thinking he's better than he actually is. When they asked him about the potential breakaway snooker series, he said something like "with what I've done for snooker I'm sure we'll keep the viewers".

Bingham heating Hendry in 2000 is a much bigger shock. It wasn’t much of a surprise to me.

If you cannot play aganst a "slow" opponent then it is a big problem and a very lame excuse. He has to sort it out.

Its not a huge surprise , Jones is a recent quarter finalist and Trumps Crucible record is modest.

Trumps ratio of winning to losing matches is actually pretty good (over 70% winning) - he is just not winning the finals so far. Apart from that one 2019. I am sure he will win more.

He does not prioritise Majors and so its no surprise when he doesnt go deep in them. Its his style so up to him but I think its a mistake as when his career ends nobody will remember how many Thailand Masters titles he's won , theyll remember the Majors.@@aurigo_tech

I didn't think this was surprising. Firstly I just had a feeling at the start of the tournament that Jones would go 1 better than last year and also as talented as Trump is it's never surprising when he loses because his mentality isn't that strong.

Think Trump is going to be another to put into the category with Murphy and Robertson, 1 time winners who never repeat despite being hyped up every year.

Trump never got the chance to get into his rhythm simply because Jones never gave him easy openers - Trump had to work for his chances in this match. Jones was quite negative with his shot selection but it worked as Trump has never had a Plan B when the going get's tough.

Trump weighed down by that horrible name. Nah, just kidding, he's learned nothing in all his years in the top 5 of world snooker. Still has no safety game to speak of, and when you can't get rhythm you have to stall a bit. He can't

Well I'm just saying all the big names are out. And to be honest all the likeable players are out. Come on. Wilson Bingham Gilbert Jones have never attracted people... Stephen Maguire would have been a great story but even that's been snubbed lol.
