To all the people in the comments section complaining about the way Zach speaks, shame! This is enormously valuable - and FREE - content from a young man who didn't have to make this content for you. There are things and people in this world that we should be vocal about and criticise, but Zach's efforts here - and Justin/Dirtrackr's hosting of this video series - is not one of them. Until Zach comes to your place of work and tells you how to sweep up, keep your awful remarks to yourself. Kudos Zach. Look forward to shaking your hand in the pits one day. Peace out.

I agree. Lots of things in the world to get excited about, but this fine lad’s efforts in these videos should be appreciated, not criticized. If you don’t like it, don’t watch. 😊

I am a long time sprint car fan. And always wished for a video that goes into great detail with the car itself. Thanks Zach and Justin

This video makes me really glad I’m just a race fan and not a crew member. Ton of work especially for one person.

From a guy who only recently started working on open wheel cars thank you guys for making these videos! This will definitely speed up my learning curve.

Wow this is great! It's been 30 years or so since I put one together. I had ALMOST forgot how nuch detailed work goes into it.

I thought it was great. Can’t wait for the next one. I didn’t even notice the ummms that guys are complaining about. The guy is building a sprint car and trying to tell everyone exactly what he’s doing while doing it. He’s not standing on stage public speaking or scripting everything he says.

My cousins son has a trophy Doug Wolfgang gave to his mother when she was battling child hood lupus...Its either his last or second to the last trophy he won before finally retiring as a driver after he was partially burnt up....Nothing like watching sprint cars and enjoying the fumes n tears

When you were installing the upper power steering bracket, the other word I think you were looking for was “boss”. But I have heard called bungs also. It’s your video so technically you can call them whatever you want.

Why does the wing slider clamp to the chassis? I figured it would have a tab welded to the cage..

  • @zachhampton35

Most cars have welded tabs but this allows me to adjust it easily. Can allow me to get my wing further back on the car with OUT adding wing angle. When you move it with the slider it goes back but also adds angle which isn’t always ideal!

Love the channel and appreciate the thorough and informative technical videos that are great for educating the regular fan or viewer. However, with that said, this channel tends to lean little more heavily or favorably on the sprint car coverage. Hopefully you can partner with someone to do a similar series on the DLM which essentially covers the other platforms as well or at least the gist of it. The difference in assembly is insufficient between DLM and modifieds, limited lates, super stocks, street stocks, etc.

Enjoying the video; learning a lot. Realize you are not a professional speaker, but for the love of God, please try to cut back on the "ums" and "uhs" and "ahs". Otherwise, carry on with a great idea and informative turorial.
