Никто не обращает внимания на иностранца, который снимает и что-то говорить по- английски. Потому что такое обычное явление иностранцев в метро люди видят каждый день. Туристы и гости из разных стран каждый день бродят по станциям метро в удивлении. @@Jellyfish60 It matters a lot, bro. In Russia, the standard of living is higher. The amount of payments per month for hot and cold water, electricity, heating, high-speed Internet, mobile communication, is on average $ 100 for all together. Free medicine, food is much better and cheaper. There is no non-organic food in Russia, as in the USA. The street is clean, safe, and there are not a lot of crazy people and drug addicts, as in major US cities. What is the beauty of your life? Is it that car insurance only takes away $ 400 - 500 from you every month? We'll add medical insurance, more expensive fuel, expensive food and everything else. If you earn $5,000 in the USA, you have to live modestly.

Funny it is, living in Moscow we are usually in a hurry and do not notice some details of metro stations, even of those native to us (oftenly used). Russel’s videos help me to see beauty from new perspective. And few words about art, pictures and mosaics inside metro stations: dear foreigners, I know that you have no big sympathy for Communism, but take a look what is described on the walls of a station: people gathering wheats, factory workers, students, of various nations because Russia is multinational and multicultural. This was a kind of communist propaganda: study, be hard working, have a respect to labour and to all nationalities.

First of all, they are very different. In Russia there are salaries of both $500 per month and $5000 (and higher). And what does this give? Secondly - taxes, bonuses, etc., it’s impossible to compare. @@user-sf3fe4bh2q UNTIL you factor in average wages. For example, in Kansas City the average annual income is $63k a year. Now, if we assumed he ate that same meal 3 times a day all year long (don't do that btw...lol) it would cost him $12,568.92. Or about 20% of his annual income. NOW, if a Russian ate that $4.40 meal 3 times a day all year it would cost them only about $4,804 a year. SOUNDS GREAT... right? Well, yeah, from that Kansas City guy's perspective. However, the average Russian only makes about $15k a year. So, that $4,804 equals about 32% of their income. To put that into perspective, for the Kansas City person to feel the same pinch in their wallet they would have to pay $18.46 for that meal instead of the $11.51 they currently pay. Not such a great deal now is it? Btw, this is why you VERY SELDOM see people in these videos even mentioning annual income and stuff like that in Russia. Because, like the guy in this video, he wants you to compare the prices to YOUR income and think it is great in Russia money wise. It's a form of propaganda.
