WHERE COVID DOESN'T EXIST... (Egypt)

I truly can't believe my eyes... Here in Egypt, about 1% of people on the streets are wearing masks. Nobody is social distancing. Many people are shaking hands, hugging, kissing and touching each other. I see public gatherings everywhere -- weddings, parties, markets and concerts. Even in Cairo airport and on domestic flights, I'm seeing the majority of people wrapping their masks around their chins.
Of course Covid exists in Egypt -- the title of this video is deceiving. But I am so shocked at how they do not take this pandemic seriously!!!
It's wild to see how different countries perceive Covid in different ways -- from Los Angeles to Cairo, they're polar opposites. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this matter - please comment below and let's get a discussion started.

You have to take into account that there are many more very old people here every year than in the previous year. It was a completely normal year, even in Sweden without measures. - In your case, you would first have to know if people really died of C or just had a false-positive PCR test and were only counted as C dead. The CDC wrote that 94% of the so-called C deaths succumbed to their pre-existing conditions, so they did not die of C.

They are not doing anything right - first the circumstances are different as each country has different demographics and health risks - this is why many African countries have until now fared relatively well - young populations and low co-morbidities. In Egypt, we do not know the situation as it is a military dictatorship and the government - like in several other African countries represses the health statistics and the press on reporting. People being maskless does not mean anything. In Morocco it is also quite problematic and the rate of infection in Libya is quite high - this is also because there is limited or no testing so people don't know unless they fall ill.

We had multiple protests in Germany over the last months (some with more than 30,000 participants - which is the official number, so it's probably been much more) and strangely there were no effects on infection rates, let alone such bs as "superspreading events" or new "hot spots". And people mostly did not wear masks or keep much distance, since measures like that were exactly what they were protesting against. Also governments almost everywhere are "missing out" on telling people how to strengthen their immune system with a proper diet, sports, supplements, etc. On the contrary, they are closing fitness centers and similar facilities and establishments. Some local governments are going completely nuts and as if it wasn't already useless to wear masks outside in fresh air, some federal states are telling people to even wear masks when they are alone in the forest (or you will have to pay a charge)! Oh yeah and they are regulating dietary supplements more and more here. Businesses are dying, people becoming poor while there was a redistribution of wealth from poor to rich in 2020 like it has NEVER been before! People are living in fear from a virus that has a proven death rate comparable to the seasonal flu - which, by the way, seems to have been completely died out. Maybe older and already very sick people are a little bit more at risk than with the flu, fine. So let them protect themselves and we can protect the respective institutions and facilities. That would be no problem. And let the "corona risk groups" *choose for themselves* if they want to be protected and/or protect themselves or not, dammit! How sick can you be to force protective measures on people that many of them don't even want? Wtf is this? Pathological savior syndrome? Better give them (and also the general public) advice for good and healthy diets, subsidize some fitness programs and maybe even critical dietary supplements like Vitamin D, at least in winter. And just let everyone else live their life like they wish to and let the populace develop immunity against the virus as best and fast as possible. Things like that would actually help. What governments are doing right now causes the exact opposite, especially on the long term. We haven't seen sh*t yet when it comes to the impacts of prolonged lockdowns, mental effects of masks and "social distancing", or all the fear that has been caused and that so many people are living with now day by day. Why is this happening you ask? Figure it out for yourself. And then DO something about it that feels right for you (in your heart, not your mind).

Lack of understanding, they are aware but most don’t really understand so they do not worry. I was in Egypt a few weeks ago, being Chinese, many young men feel the need to shout Corona at me. Some people were afraid to stand near me, on a few occasions people left the shop because I went inside. Some places have equipment but they are not using it. My wife is Egyptian and caught the virus, she still had trouble breathing after the virus had gone so she went to see the doctor. There you will see how scared the doctors are having seen the reality of the situation as many have caught the virus. In her city in fact if you wear a mask people are more wary to be near you than if you don’t wear one.

Naveen kumar well my family are from Hong Kong. I don’t believe China spread the virus on purpose, it doesn’t make sense to do this as many people will die and economically it’s bad for everyone. Yes they held back from telling everyone and that is very bad. I don’t know the reason for this, whether it was a big judgement error or if there was another reason. They can be blamed for the the delay but it is wrong for so many countries to blame China to be solely responsible for the virus, some even believe it is man made. Many countries also made bad decisions such as manipulating figures and taking delayed action also under playing the severity of the situation.
