Inviting a man from tinder after an hour and agreeing to go to Cambodia. Yep, that's the manic phase.
one of the reasons why i prefer british shows over american ones is the way brits are able to tackle dark matters (mental illness, depression, suicidal thoughts and stuff) with humor and not make it inappropriate or offensive. americans either do it too seriously to the point where it's just unwatchable and too triggering or they make it a joke and when they get backlash, they say "this generation is too soft", like, no!!!! brits just know how to do it, this was a masterclass in writing and acting. this was brilliant. nicola is brilliant!
The ending is so vulnerable, looks like a beautiful show
That was heartbreaking and extraordinary and a beautiful portrayal of humanity and humor surrounding mental illness. Nicola blows me away!
There's just something about british culture that gets it spot-on when writing about mental illness/darkness with a tad bit of humour. I see americans try to do that formula sometimes and very rarely it works. Anyway, look forward to watching this.

I binged watched all episodes 😭! Having bipolar disorder type 1 (mania, hypomania and depression mixed episodes) myself it is so relatable! No two people are the same with any bipolar spectrum diagnosis! Nicola Coughlan's portrayal of Maggie is of one hundred percent accuracy the scripts by Camilla Whitehill are stunning! All six episodes are directed beautifully by Rebecca Asher. The supporting cast are wonderful. The friendship between the two leading cast members Lydia West as Eddie and Maggie (Coughlan) is very believable beautiful! It's full of hilarious one-liners and poignant scenes. Big Mood is a very beautiful comedy drama television series! I hate cliffhangers! Please can we have a Series 2?! Thank you Dancing Ledge Productions and Channel 4!

I love this show so much. But omg that therapist needs to teach her mindfulness techniques or something, nothing wrong with her odd pyramid, but her internet stalking and attitude are a LOT!!! I want this show back so bad though, i love Nicola C so much, she did an amazing job, the script is fun, and i just loved the mc's stories sm!!
