I really needed this.😢😢 I've been feeling so numb these last few months compared to early October/November. I couldn't function and had to step back from engaging with the news all day so that I could be able to be present in my daily life. I've been feeling so guilty and helpless as a result of that. Allah has answered my duaa for guidance as to how to navigate my feelings and actions during this difficult time through this khutba. May Allah elevate Imam Omar Sulieman to the highest ranks of Jannah, be pleased with him and accept from him everything he is doing to fight for the oppressed Muslims in Palestine and everywhere else.

Me too wallah im Palestinian and my whole family from aunts to cousins to uncles to grandparents all live in Palestine and every day I have to wake up in fearness of finding out one of them has died

Your not alone dear,we all are passing through the same phase and yet go along with our routine work.The worst is when people you interact with seem not bothered.May Allahazwajal protect them.

May we have the strong hearts that keep on going to help the ummah. May Allah soften our hearts to keep on remembering Him in abundance, and do righteous deeds.

This Ramadan is so different for me I am not in to it, I used to praying, reciting Quran, doing a lot of dua, but this Ramadan I didn’t do anything I don’t know why if any one like me? Please let me know I just want to know.😭😭

Don't worry Ramadan is not over! We are at half of it so you still have lots of opportunities to do the good work insha'Allah and the last ten days are the most important. Don't feel guilty for your inaction until now, just make the intention to be better now and do your best and may Allah make the good deeds easy for you ameen 🤲

I need to know what else I can do other than giving charity to Palestine and Praying for them...Yes I intend to protest if there is another one in my city in sha Allah, but what else can we do to help strengthen the strongest people in the world who are being oppressed in the worst way.

Im feeling helpless, frustrated, pained, i shed tears pretty much everyday and i dont know what to do ..yes i know we should ask Allah to help the ummah but everyday brings new horrors in Gaza where does it stop??!! In my daily life nothing is the same. I dont want lavish iftars, i feel guilty laughing or enjoying life when its so desperate in Gaza. I get annoyed when people i know show no concern or care for Gaza whatsoever they dont even mention it.

Same here I wake every day thinking that that I will see different news, I wasn't even the type of person who uses phone much but nowadays I look at every message thinking it's about them and it's a cease fire news,only Almighty Allah knows how happy I felt when I heard the US draft about the cease fire but it was part of their evil plan or how I felt when I hear about them receiving aids but remember this, the same was done to prophet Mohammad who was best of mankind for months to the extent that the Muslims despair and their hearts came to their throat out of fear but Allah help them in al-ahzab without them fighting the group

4:20 4:26 😨🥺😭 Yaqoob AS.. it makes me think Yaqoob AS had his son missing.. Gazans are having to bury their kids. Their starving feeble bodies… only my Rabb is Al Lateef Al Khabeer, my Rabb is all caring… so much Allah AWJ used words with such delicacy. 6:51 How can such a caring, loving Ar Rahman Ar Raheem not care for the Gazans and their loss!? He is just seeing us and honestly we lot are a failure but at least whatever we can do can show them we just like our Rabb never stopped caring for our brethren. 😭

Our rab cares for our brothers, didn't He help them fight the super powers of the world, didn't He took shuhadaa from them who were wronged , didn't He took children and grant them free entry to jannah and the children will be there waiting for their parents and our rab did provided for them when the world denied them for six months and before that. Whenever I feel pain for them I just remember Allah being more merciful than the crying mother in Gaza. Pray for them brother because the prayers of a Muslim for his Muslim brother is accepted ❤

In summary It's okay to feel numb sometimes but it's not okay to not care at all and most importantly you have to keep helping the Palestinians with your prayers good deeds and giving charity

As Pearl Jam sang, I've become comfortably numb 😢 That's what I feel these days and there's nothing comfortable about it.. that concept itself is hard to endure. There's so much helplessness.. so much weakness as an ummah and disappointment in Muslim men who have been busy keeping up with the jones that they got attached to duniya and this punishment is bcs of that..and bcs they failed to lead the ummah. Omar Suleiman is one of the rare Muslim men SubhanAllah..else others' heart were made hard by the duniya
