The clicking noise was mimicking her friends' smacking on bubble gum.

I saw a young mother in the grocery store, with 3 small children. The eldest was cutting up, so she bent over and said, "If you don't behave, when we get home, there will be chores." That was all she had to say, he straightened up. I have faith that there are young parents out there who are raising their kids right.

I'm a young parent. I never use the chores as a punishment. Chores are what we all do because we are part of the family! Much better that way, IMO. The children, all between ages 2 and 6, do some level of chores.

@@biker5662 Perhaps not everyone's approach, but I appreciated the fact that she used that as a threat, rather than something else. Our children had chores to do, but if they misbehaved, they got extra. It worked for us.

You're very good at your craft. You read the room and incorporate it on the fly. And, if something goes "off", then you're excellent at finding a segue and just move on. Past that, your life stories are good ones! Loves! 😎

Oh my goodness her voice. It's so.... SMOOTH. Buttery and full of confidence. Almost to her detriment. After a while I actually stopped hearing the comedy and was listening to a fantastic storyteller. I want to hear about her whole life. Hell, I want her to read a novel to me.

I let my five year old granddaughter get away with a lot . Being a pa pap of seven grandkids and she is so much like her dad my oldest son she was doing something that I told her not to and I had said to quit it several times already I said One two and she said okay that's enough! Because she knows what happens when I say three yes she knows how far she can push me as all of them do it's the same thing with my wife but she is the one that they listen to on the first thing she says for some reason. I love kids and how honest they are ❤😂
