do you use Deep diving crankbait? is it necessary ? Can it be replaced by other types of lures? I am new to bass fishing, look like Deep crankbait is good to keep the consistent depth in water and scan the water fast

I use them. It's just another tool like all other lures. When you want a deep reaction go for it. Usually I start to use other techniques when the fish are deep to get down there faster.
