Idk if the fixes it, but if you disguise self on astarion into someone small, like a gnome, and then talk to him in camp, he stretches himself to his original height during the conversation. Works especially well if you are also short because the camera pans up to follow him and you see him from below sometimes

Yup. It happens too, I got Gale and almost got all the way to Lae’zel before realizing I didn’t explore that side of the beach. Most studios wouldn’t have bothered.

I missed Lae'zel completely in my first run, only found her when some friends showed me in multiplay. And I can see Astarion being missed easily if you take the right instead of the left from that room.

Its a minor detail, but i like the foreshadowing in these lines. Wyll saying he's "all bite and no bark" alludes ro Astarion being a vampire, while his line about eating Karlach's heart has the implicit meaning of irony from her not having one.

Id say its less forshadowing and more just jokes about the characters. 99% of people aren't going to get Wyll and Karlach before Astarion when they first start. They'll probably learn about those characters first so this interaction is just kind of a funny nod to them.

@@Bacxaber - straight up. I ran into the hunter, and came back to camp and was like "so are you a vampire?" and he's all "noooo" and I just really wanted a dialog option to call out that clear bullshit, because the next evening he tried to take a bite, and long story short Astarion is dead now.

OMFG Astarion's 10/10 backflip over the edge! he cant even fall without being fancy!! xD

Wow! Finally a line from Wyll that's funny AND insightful!

The fact that astarion can twist his neck so far that it would surely break and yet be able to speak and function completely normally shows how he's actually an undead vampire. What a remarkable visual storytelling. Also, can we just acknowledge how stupid this scene is? Larian really thought of everything.Even the most random moments somehow always seem curated to you. The companions are friendly and compassionate to you, everything and everyone is ambiguous and best of all RANDOMNESS cannot stop playing bg3 hopefully larian doesn’t sell out and start selling merch and cosmetic add ons for a price

Guessing it's a mod.

this scene makes no sense when you play as a dragonborn (bonus points for durge). when astarion just stretches his neck beyond boundaries like that, he's really asking to be bitten and I don't see why that's not an option
