When you read Tigrex like a book
Ойындар
My best time is 3:18, but I don't want to push anymore since in TU5 we will have new level 4 jewels and possibly more Anomaly levels. I want to show the different TCS predics, it reminds me of certain old gen movements and brings back very good memories.
I hope you like the video!

Amazing, this really puts "“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles." into action. High level MH play puts me in awe because there are multiple levels of mastery that come together. This show case really demonstrates just how perfectly Aris knows the Tigrex.

Here we can see a monster fighting a tigrex
Impressive. It must be nice being able to memorize patterns and tells. I've played every MH game since MH2, and every time I fight a monster, it's almost, but not quite, as if I'm fighting it for the first time, every time. I can memorize names and looks of most monsters for the most part, but when it comes to their attacks or movements or tells, I can't for the life of me ever remember even the tiniest bit. I get by relatively fine but I always exhaust my potion and med kit supply every hunt.

Finally someone I can relate to haha. There are some monsters I can predict a little better but overall I cannot memorise all their moves and simultaneously estimate what areas are safe when monsters do these moves (like half the time when I can see what's coming I still get hit lmao). I'm over 1000h in and I still can't dance around monster as well as I'd like. People who can do that shit seriously impress me.

@@Hooy-Jaymay nargacuga is almost the same as when it debuted. Same timing for rolls from mhfu all the way to rise. Tigrex (mhf2) too, but now we have such nice hit boxes we can roll under his arm. Even his roar/enrage animation is the same amount of time Makes it very easy to learn all these new mechanics on them, like counters and such because my brain knows when it is happening already, and just need to act within that window

Oh my goodness, yet another banger from my favorite GS Hero. The absolute knowledge and patience of how this fight goes had me in complete awe. Good work as always!
For anyone curious, here's the stats on damage dealt: 87,469 damage just in greatsword swings alone.* 1,187 damage in explosions (200x2, 787x1) 1,094 damage by breaking infection 89,750 total damage* She hit the poor Tigrex a total of 32 times, almost all of which were to the face. The average damage per hit (not counting explosion/infection) was 2,733.4.* *On the very final hit I played the video back at 0.25x speed to try to get the number but the first digit was off-screen as soon as the camera cut to the kill view and the one frame where you *could* possibly see the whole value before the cut shows it as one bright yellow blob. You're very clearly able to see 975 as a damage number in one frame but the previous swings from TCS all hit between 3000 and 7000 damage so it was impossible for me to say "oh that was probably a 5" with confidence. As such, the TRUE numbers are slightly higher than what I have listed.

Fighting tigrex in mhfu made me understand how to really use the gs. Mained gs for so long now. So satisfying!
That's some refined Tigrex literature you're reading there, damn! 2:56 This right here was absolutely incredible, when a Tigrex starts charging, I can't think of anything other than running away.

Look don't get me wrong this is insanely impressive. But am I the only one that feels like in Rise and Sunbreak, they added a parry to almost every weapon that more or less trivializes almost all monsters in the game, and greatly simplifies the rest? xD
@CaptainEffort

Feel the same way. I was expecting this video to be them perfectly dodging and positioning, knowing what Tigrex is going to do and preemptively outmaneuvering it. But… this is effectively just someone using the equivalent of valor and parrying every move. Like, call me crazy but that’s infinitely less impressive.
Amazing timing, i hope i could play like you sometime.
absolute masterclass!
I remember being so precise with a Rathian in Generations and an Odogaron in World. It's a wonderful thing to experience, years of practice and mastery put into a single, flawless moment.
As soon as you were about to do the first hit, the tigrex's eye opened. That's some good timing right there
Incredible display of weapon mastery, and monster knowledge
This felt so casual that it made feel dirty. Brilliant plays
The eyes at the beginning open just to be struck by a greatsword.
This is INCREDIBLE wow, you are a great sword GAWD
This is some master level of Tigrex knowledge. And of great sword knowledge too. I'm so bad with it I can't help bur feel impressed
Thanks, I wondered how to advance my charge without a clutch claw. 👍🏾 I'll bring GS back now.
When you memorize every movement that you only need to move few step and miss an inch from the attack hahaha amazing
How much health does this Tigrex have? I can hardly see myself finishing the fight in under an hour
You didn't tell Tigrex that you were playing headshots only! No wonder it couldnt touch ya! Nice run 👍
The stepping to the side a couple steps to dodge the bites is just full disrespect 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The hp pool on the tigrex is insane
Aris is awsome. Ive been playing MH since 2G but never saw play like this. he has very good analysis skill

those hit boxes look amazing!. So many of those hits that miss would have hit you in Tigrexs first appearance.
Great run !
"If you want to beat a monster, become the monster" - Every hunter
Everytime I'll need something statisfying I'll return to this video lol Really amazing job! Just one question What is that green speed wirebug recovery? I have actually never seen it before lol Ahhh Wirebug Whisperer! 3:42
Now this is crazy, he counters to almost every attack with greatsword
This was beautiful. Couple questions from a noob though: How do you do the delayed Strongarm proc? Sometimes it looks like you wait a bit after strongarm counter to see if you can land the TCS and the charge still remains. Also, how do you do the instant unsheathe into strongarm? Is it just perfect timing? Whenever I try this I can't get into charging stance fast enough to strongarm lmao
this looked like a frame perfect TAS, god damn man.
Can u post the build ? I‘ve never saw a hunt like this… awsome !!
I was sold as soon as 1:00 rolled around. Reminds me of Borderlands 2 when Brick is like "don't look at the explosion -- just walk away from it! You'll look like such a badass."

Nice run ! Can you show your augments plz ?
Bro got violated for sleeping.
I took a break from the game when update 1 released. What's the skill that makes the wirebugs recharge super fast?
Bro walk dodged his moves
So Tigrex doesn't exactly make a complete 180 when he does that running charge attack? That's good to know! And the hit box of that move is right at the head? I always thought it'd be his whole "wing" span.
when a monster invade you while you are doing another mission and you take it personal
The way you just style on him by standing still knowing his bite won't reach
greatsword attack animation was so satisfying when it connect
Damn, can you make a fool outta Tigrex with hammer next? If you have i'll be sure to check your channel (EDIT) oh damn that is alot of greatsword content
Jsut bought it last night on sale. Its there a way to lock on monters? Im new to this. I hitting air most of the time and the camera making me dizzy
Man o man… here I thought the music was for the monster. Boy was I wrong. My man’s has his own theme.
Okay but what was that delay on the counter? Like the counter with initiated there was a single second delay and then the true charge follow-up happened
I actually started laughing at 1:20. GG bro, thts pro, this thing is a headache
That's monster hunting taken to its limits. Gg.
1:12 ok, that was the coolest shit I've seen
That great sword is so pretty.... that and seeing such crazy numbers make me want to try one out. Best I can do right now is 988 damage with my hammer, but you must've killed a pretty good amount of Tigrex to get to such a point
Haven't played with a greatsword, ao im curious how you were able to break through its roar?
Definitely reminds me of those MHFU GS videos styling on tigrex that I could never pull off!
And I thought I was getting proficient with the GS! Actually what's that move that you're using to tank the Tigrex roar at around :13 seconds? Doesn't look like Tackle or Guard Tackle quite obviously. Is this a Sunbreak thing?
Gs mastery is always amazing
0:10 - Tigrex opened his eye a moment before the hit, poor thing
This is krazy😭🔥
I'm more impressed with the Tigrex for lasting that long.
beautiful fight 👌🏻💪🏻
How you charge up so fast? And have that hard ahh charge up everytime? I must learn this, n you get health back with every one of them hits that lands thats wild, is it your armor?
Tigrex: he knew what I was going to do even before I did.
Not even turning around to hit it
“And no grass was touched that year”
2:27 I didn't know you could do that. I thought once you let the counter animation finish you can't go directly to TCS anymore. I gotta up my GS game.
thats increbidle. Bor knew where the Tigrex was at any given time. He didnt even move the camera
That Tigrex barely had time to even wake up! You sure smacked it around. The fact you also stay within reach to benefit from his attacks and turn them back at him... wow, impressive. Wish I'd be half as good on GS! SA is my comfort though.
How did you hold that tcs for so long after the steongarm at 1:00 ???
I’m gonna need an explanation on how you were dealing with the charges. That was too amazing.
