When You Reach a PLATEAU 🧡 How to HOPE Again
We all come to a point where we hit a massive plateau in life, where we get stuck-whether it’s with a job, a relationship, a faith, weight loss and diet, etc. We come to a point where we’re just going through the motions and everything seems hopeless, when depression sets in and nothing seems to work anymore. Don't give in to societal brainwashing. You are not for sale. Join me in this video as I talk about the plateau, demoralization, greed, propaganda and HOPE. There is life after the plateau, and it’s a good life.

Dang. Gotta love that typo at the very end of the video. 😂
I wish I would have realized that going to work wasn’t the most important thing in life 20 years ago. Chasing that next thing that I really didn’t need, and only thought I wanted because of tricky marketing. Simpler life now, trying to be more like Diogenes, hanging out with my dog. I still go to work to earn a living, but I definitely put a cap on it. Reminds me of an old Billy Ray Cyrus song, “Busy Man”. In it, the question is asked, “have you ever seen a headstone with these words “if only I had spent more time at work”?”.

You sound a lot like me. Working to live, not living to work. It has its risks and benefits. I'm gonna have to listen to that song. 🧡
I'm always delighted when you release another video. Our culture waves shiny objects in our faces to motivate us to ignore the things that truly matter. Rather like a donkey chasing a carrot on a stick. The donkey doesn't realize that the carrot is actually unattainable.

And even if the donkey were to get the carrot, he'd be awfully disappointed. 🧡 Thanks for your kind words, Chris.

@@AlasBabylon1 Much love to you my dear sister.
Yes work work work and keep everyone distracted and no time to rest and reflect. All by design and we should wake up to that realization. I remember that old saying, I'll give you something to cry about and yes they did and we towed the line. If we could all realize were free and soveriegn beings here and were MAGIC and that's what they don't want us to know so, keep slaving it until the platuea hits and as a collective we all stand up together.

Agreed. Even the plateaus are designed, never mind the build up and let down. Someday soon we will all have the realization you speak of. 🧡

Excellent life message. You didn't happen to be the guest last night on "Coast To Coast" ? Her voice sounded like you and was very inspirational like yourself. She talked about our souls and where we choose to let them live in eternity.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. No, I was not the guest last night on "Coast to Coast." But now you've got me thinking of Art Bell and the old days. 🧡
Loved this:))

Thank you!
Ah, the art of just being. Easy for some, tough for others. Plateaus are nice, after a long climb and the wander down off the edge is easy to take and rejoin the rest at the bottom.

The art of being is, indeed, an art. 🧡

Thank you for your insight, and yes, I think you're right. It's human nature to reach a plateau with everything--studies, work, relationships, food, etc. Getting beyond the plateau is when life beings. 🧡
Just out of curiosity, have you been a book narrator?

No, I have not. Sounds like a fun job, though!

@@AlasBabylon1 I listen to audio books and a narrator sounded like you. I bet you would be good at it.
