I use a noise app to fall asleep to the sound of crickets. It lasts 20 min. One morning I woke up to the sound of crashing waves. My Baxie was sitting staring at my phone looking very pleased with herself. "How the did you _do_ that?!?!?" 😳

There was a Siamese cat in our neighborhood that would open the door to gain entry to our house to eat our cats food and would even close the door by himself too !

It's AI narration. That's definitely not a human talking. I'd prefer they stopped with the AI narrators because it's far more obnoxious than it should be.

When a cat has better manners than the human sitting next to him...

After seeing a cat help a lady who'd dropped her keys down a hole I was hooked I've always been a dog person but getting a rescue cat was the best thing ever instead of a kitten I thought a grown cat deserves just as much a chance and she loves my staffies and vice versa my fury kids are happy so to my human kids life's perfect. It's amazing how my anxiety has almost gone since getting a puss puss.

I have one asthmatic Bengal and an elderly Ragdoll. Last night the Ragdoll started coughing and the Bengal looked me dead in the eye and placed her paw on her ventilation inhaler. She also knows how to make the computer wake me up. I have no idea what I will do when they are gone.

I had a wonderful cat genius. He ‘knew’ who the jerks were. They didn’t have to do anything to him….he just knew and was never wrong. He peed about 1 liter on my room mates beanbag chair, right where all the seams came together. My aunt and uncle stayed with us a couple of days. He peed on just my aunts suitcase both days. My dad loved him, but would not tolerate him on the dining room table. Dad didn’t hit him he just pushed him and the cat slid off. My dad was the safety rep on a 3 year construction site. He had broken his foot at one time and had a pair of fleece lined boots one of them had a customized insole. That cat filled that boot with pee. Ever try to get rid of the smell of a male cat’s pee? My roommate had made a clay pot about 2.5 feet tall with a narrow neck. We were throwing the catnip mouse around for him and it went into the pot. We were young, couldn’t get it out by hand and went no further to get it out. We’d come into the room to find him precariously balanced on the shoulder of the pot with his head in as far as it would go, just chillin. I also found him many times using the toilet to pee. The seat had to be down, otherwise it was too far to spread his legs. Loved how he plotted his revenge, while being a cuddle bug

trimming them doesn't hurt, it's like cutting your own nails. gotta do it or they grow too long if the cat doesn't go outside or if it's an old cat that isn't very active. some people in America declaw them though, i.e remove the claws which is the worst you can do to a cat and I don't understand why it still has not been made illegal there. if you don't want your furniture scratched up don't get a cat
