What an incredible, electrifying performance of the iconic Journey !!- All of the band's iconic members delivered amazingly well -most especially Arnel Pineda - AP awesome raspiness in his voice shows more when he sings ballads, full of soul and emotions, and when he sings rock songs, he captured the crowds with his energy and the whole crowd rocks with him !!! WOW! Journey got all generations of fans now--!! Can't wait to see their LIVE Concerts again SOON !! Thanks, AP for keeping the legacy of Journey alive! WOW!!!Jonathan Cain was absolutely right when he said that this guy has lots of passion and soul. this guy can sing any song and make it his own. I heard this song long time ago and he make it sound like it's brand new.

This guy has a talent that cannot be taught or learned. he's got the passion like no other, and lots of soul. he really sings from his heart. incomparable and amazing rendition of the song. Excellent.

What is the problem by capturing that magic again Sparkiview..is it not so that the music of Journey deserves a voice who honors this timeless music...and Pineda is doing more than honering the legacy of journey with Perry he re-defines their music bringing the past to the present but giving them a voice for the future.

Sometimes it is hard to believe a thing...to hear, to see and even be engrossed unknowingly in such act, I was paused seconds when someone a teen said "ohh god I'll die". Man, you made this song very memorable to that girl.

Ahhhhhhhh Arnel is amazing! We were at the three Bay Area shows and the Sacramento show I thought was THE best, by far. Arnel was pure magic that night.

Ihave been a fan of Journey ever since the Steve Perry days until they broke up. A friend of mine made me a copy of their new album. I thought journey just made a reunion like the Eagles. I never knew they have a new lead vocalist. Journey is BACK & STRONGER! It's worth waiting for their ressurection!

I Like this place every time he performed exceptional in their tour, negative remarks pop-ups like mushrooms after the thunderstorm, I can imagine that those are somewhat like standing in front of big tidal waves saying "yeah you can't carry me away where I'm standing", but the real thing is he's swept away and regrets afterward saying "If I just listened to my heart not my mind I would have enjoyed life now partying with people young and old and happy. Enjoy life, time is running out my friend.

I was there too. Journey's music is the best. He has a very nice voice and did a great job with this song. I too am a die-hard Journey fan and adore(d) Steve Perry. He has the Journey golden voice. We miss him terribly. But, times have changed and Arnel is their new front man. I am happy that they are keeping the sound the same. Arnel is just a different version of the sound Journey needs. (On a side note...I am still hoping for a reunion with Steve Perry.)

Doing just fine. Arnel should keep singing live, I agree. The more he sings the songs, the more concerts he does, the more royalties SP will get. Smart business man. In the newest issue of guitar player, Neal is on the cover and the article talks about how he wanted to find someone who could capture that original sound for the old songs. The writer then states how "creepy" it is that Arnel sounds just like Steve Perry and that they have captured the same sound. Arnel is a good singer, I agree

I can't speak for all Journey fans, evidently, but don't you think the reason Journey is doing so well is Journey fans love the 'Journey sound'? If we wanted a new sound, we could listen to other groups.They are one of a kind, and that is why they are on top again.

Coincidence or not, both Steve Perry & AP's mother have died. Then both SP & AP's first GF broke up. It hurt SP so much! Also it had hurt AP with his first break up! And AP hit hard & went into drugs & drinking that it almost ruined his voice! His doctor said quit the drug & alcohol, or else you're finished! He did quit! And here he is today! Cheers! :) Perhaps it's a blessing in desguise, that today it gives AP great emotions when he sings Journey's songs! Makes him performs at his best!

It's March 2023 now and I stumbled upon this video. That man is still outstanding. I'm seeing Journey in 3 days. This will be my second time seeing them . I saw them a year ago. I love AP.

The band did great on this song... lead and back up vocals. You feel emotions pouring out from all these men. They miss their wives/girlfriends, been out on that tour for long months. Don't worry boys...you all are coming home in Oct. for a much needed rest. You did great on this tour-- the best tour of the summer 2008!!!
