It really gives the energy of "you're not fighting a boss, the "boss" is fighting YOU and you're the boss", if that makes sense.

forgot to mention, the results in the end are "doctored", the rating system initially gave me a B rank and a time of 8 minutes which is probably messed up because I used Mod Menu to restart the boss fight from the start instead of going back to the title screen each time I get hit in the second half 'cuz screw checkpoints.
