He literally couldnt remember Chikorita's final evolution. So you saying he can just use the starters is basically worthless. He was looking for Torchic in the Johto row, so he still is struggling to match the starters with their generations, let alone their evolutions.

NL, we all love you, but you've *gotta* chill with the "nuts on the table" arc. It was funny for a while, but every time (and that number of times have to be in at least triple digits at this point) it's said again, especially with only tenuous relevance as a precursor, it grates just a little bit more. I can't speak for the whole community, and even just in my own little humble opinion, I'm not saying you should completely strike it from the pool, just... y'know, not an every 15 minute pull from the lexicon. Nothing but respect home skillet, it's just a lot lol.
